“Graduation? Congratulations. I always forget when the kids are graduating unless someone contacts my office to ask me to speak.”

“I can’t believe my nephew is already eighteen. Time flies.”

“It does.”

“Oh, a blue Porsche. Here’s another of your guests. Your wife asked me to work down here and let a few cars through the gate. I have a list here,” he assured Beau.

“Perfect. Thanks, Troy. Tell the high school graduate congratulations from us, please.”

“Thank you, sir.”

Navigating the driveway, Beau kept one eye on the fancy sports car following him. He parked in front of the house, noting a Silver pickup truck had arrived before him.

“Rio! I’m glad to see you. Did I miss a gathering announcement?” Beau asked as he got out of his car.

“If you missed one, I did, too. I got a message from Amber about twenty minutes ago, summoning me here. There were a number of misspelled words,” Rio said with a smile.

“Do you think they’re having that strawberry daiquiri festival they threatened to have at our upcoming wedding?” Beau asked.

“I have a feeling we’ll know soon.”

A sudden peal of laughter rang out, making both men smile. “That sounds like it’s coming from the pool. We need to see this,” Beau suggested and led the way through the house to the patio.

Colt stood looking at the three women stretched out on lounge chairs in swimsuits. One’s belly was super round. He had thrust a hand through his hair as if stymied by what to do.

“Daddy!” Maisie called. “Look, we have company!”

“I see that. Hi, buddy,” Beau greeted his oldest male friend with a handshake. “You’re looking a bit flustered there, Colt.”

“Oh, just wait.”

“Daddy, I didn’t tell them that if I’m a good girl and I eat my vegetables without complaining, you’ll wear your tight baseball pants and walk around so I can gawk at your hot butt.”

“You just told us, Maisie,” Amber said before howling with laughter.

“I’ll eat green things if you put them on now, Beau,” Amber added when she could breathe again. To prove her point, she plucked the lime off her glass and sucked the juice from it.

Colt rushed to Harper’s side when she almost fell out of her chair when she saw Amber’s sour face. “You should see what you look like! And a lime isn’t even a vegetable.”

“Is she drinking?” Beau asked Colt in concern.

“That was the first thing I asked,” Colt answered, shaking his head.

“I’m drinking virgin daiquiris,” Harper assured him. “They’re drunk. I’m just enjoying all the stuff coming out of their mouths. After my week, it’s better than rum.”

“Nothing’s better than rum,” Maisie chimed in. “Unless you’re pregnant, then the baby is much more important. Daddy, you wouldn’t go put on your baseball pants, would you?”

“No, Little girl. I will not.”

“You forget you’ve ever heard that,” Beau warned Colt and Rio, making eye contact with them both.

“I don’t know if I can get that visual image out of my mind,” Rio admitted.

“Daddy, you can speak French for us. It’s so sexy,” Amber shared with the group next.

She waved her glass around dramatically before adding, “Rio learned all sorts of kinky French sex moves when he lived in France. You should see what he can do with a French tingler,” Amber announced.

“What’s a French tingler?” Harper asked, before holding her empty glass out to Colt with a wave at the two waiting pitchers. “Mine is the smaller one.”

“It’s like a condom, but it has all these tentacles at the end of it. He can make it move so good,” Amber shared, squirming on the cushion.

Colt and Beau looked at Rio with a smirk. “I may need you to share your supply of secret, kinky, French sex toys with us,” Colt suggested.

“Daddy can’t use those. He only buys things made in the United States. Do they have U.S. tinglers? That sounds like fun!” Maisie asked. “I bet I could design one. Can you draw it for us, Amber?”

“Oh, yeah! I’ve looked at it very closely,” Amber bragged, winking dramatically.

She waved a hand toward the men and asked, “Who’s got a pen? I can draw it on this napkin.”

“I can’t wait to see this,” Colt commented, searching his pockets and coming up empty. He plucked the fancy pen from Beau’s pocket. “Here, Amber.”

“Thanks, Colt.” She beamed at him before sticking her tongue out slightly as she started drawing.

“Glad to help.”

“Yes, thanks, Colt,” Rio chimed in with a meaningful look at the singer. “Harper, do you have anything you want to share with us about your Daddy?”

“She’s already shared, Rio. You just missed it,” Colt said quickly.

“I just told everyone that you sing sometimes in your sleep and that you’ve made us really dirty songs about me,” Harper threw in. “There’s one I really like. It’s ‘Angel, I’m going to knock off your halo.’”

“I’d like to hear that one,” Beau suggested, grabbing an empty glass and pouring the fluorescent pink mixture into it before handing it to Colt.
