“Trust me, Ace. That wasn’t eating you. It was only a taste. My appetizer. I’ll be feasting soon enough.” I reach down to adjust my cock. Her eyes follow my movement. “If you’re a good girl, I might let you have a taste too.” Ace’s mouth drops open. “Not now,” I tease her. She quickly closes her mouth, making me laugh.

Something only she can seem to do to me.

ELSA (ACE)

I’m surprised when Bo opens the door to reveal an actual diner. I don’t recognize what part of town we’re in, but that’s not surprising since I usually stick pretty close to hot spots and home. He offers me his hand to help me out before he takes his suit jacket off to place over me.

“You really dislike the dress that much?” I start to take off the jacket, but he stops me.

“This is for everyone else’s safety.” He brushes his knuckle against my chin. “Please, gorgeous. I’ll be able to relax if you keep it on.”

“Fine.” I roll my eyes. Even though I do want the jacket, I’m trying to get some footing here. Bo is bossy, and I keep doing what he tells me to, but I think most do. “Was it hard to say that word?”

“Not when I can still taste your pussy.”

“Bo!” I hiss, smacking his chest. A few people mingling in the parking lot glance over at us. Bo pays them no mind.

“It’s the truth.” He shrugs, putting his hand on my back to lead me toward the diner.

“Should I make a note that if I want you to play nice, I give you a taste?”

“It wouldn’t hurt.” He gives my ass a smack as he pulls open the diner door for me.

“Knight.” A few people call to him as we make our way across the diner. He gives them a nod and leads us to the back corner booth.

“This your favorite place?” I thought we’d end up somewhere fancy. I love diners. They always have a million things on the menu.

“I haven’t been in a while, but I grew up around here. It was my mom’s favorite.” I don’t miss the was.

“You lost your mom too?”

“A long time ago.”

“Me too.” I reach out without thinking and grab his hand. He lifts his brows. I start to pull it back, wondering if that was a mistake. Bowen Knight has a reputation to uphold and is supposed to be Mr. Bad Guy out in public. He doesn’t hold a girl's hand. To my surprise, he grabs my hand back, locking our fingers together.

“Bowen, I thought you forgot about us.” An older woman places menus down in front of us along with a black coffee.

“Been busy.”

“I can see that.” The older woman winks at me. “She got a name?”

“Elsa,” Bo tells her.

“Nice to meet you, Elsa. I’m Becs.” That is the name of the diner.

“Nice to meet you too.” I give her a smile.

“I’ll start by getting you a drink. What’ll it be?”

“Strawberry shake.” Bec laughs at my response.

“Innocent.” She shakes her head but is smiling. “Nikkie is here,” she adds before heading back behind the counter. I try to pull my hand from his, but he doesn’t let go. I have to admit that I really like it. It makes me feel safe.

“I need my hands to look at the menu.” He finally releases his hold on my hand—at least for now. I don’t think there is getting away from Bo unless he allows it. I’m not sure how to handle that. Hell, I’m not sure how to handle him. The man is a powerful force.

I grab the menu and scan over it. I peek up from it when I hear the sound of heels on the bare floor. A woman in a tight fifties-style waitress uniform walks toward us. She’s all done up to match the theme of the restaurant. The dress fits tight to her body with a few buttons popped at the top to give a view of her ample breasts.

Everything is a production in Vegas. I bet she makes a killing in tips. Her bright red lipstick is a stunning contrast to her blue eyes. Why is she working in a diner? I catch sight of her name tag. To no shock, it’s the Nikkie Becs had mentioned earlier.

She narrows her eyes on me. I pull my attention back to the menu or pretend to. Really, I watch Bo as she passes by, but he doesn’t glance her way. She enters the bathroom. Becs returns with my milkshake.

“You’re paying?”

“Gorgeous.”

“Just checking,” I say before I ramble off a ridiculous order. When you can’t make up your mind, why not get it all? Especially on someone else’s dime.

“Anything else?” Becs laughs.

“I’m sure she’ll want dessert.” Bo answers for me. She takes the menus with her. “If you think your antics bother me, you’re mistaken. Except the ones that are illegal.” I snort.
