I was his good boy.

Wasn’t I?

“No…I…” Shoot. “I’m a good boy, Daddy.”

Yes, that was important to make sure he knew.

“Hmm, I don’t know. You’re still trying to get your tinglies.” Daddy’s pat to my bottom made me realize I was squirming too much.

Oops.

“I’m…I’m wiggly, Daddy.” Yes, I had too much energy to work off. “That’s…that’s it.”

Daddy made another thinking sound, which sent another shiver through me because I was nervous…yes…just nervous. “So you aren’t imagining Daddy pulling down your pants and leaning you up against a tree? You weren’t thinking about how good Daddy’s hands or mouth would feel?”

“I…”

He.

Really?

“Outside?” I realized it was a stupid question after the word popped out but I couldn’t catch it in time. “Daddy…”

“Oh, you’re pretending to sound shocked. It’s so cute, baby.” Daddy kissed the side of my head as he made a quiet aw sound like I’d been adorable. “But you don’t have to pretend with Daddy. I know how naughty you are. It’s okay because even if someone comes by, I have enough magic to make sure they don’t see my naked cutie. You’ll just have to be quiet, but you can do that.”

He had a lot of confidence in something I wasn’t so sure I could accomplish.

He also had a lot of confidence in his ability to talk me out of my pants.

I just wished he wasn’t so right.

He was very dangerous when he was being cute, but I’d have been able to figure out what to do if I’d had more time. Yes, I was smart and I could’ve done it. Unfortunately, time was one thing I didn’t have because Daddy went still right before I heard something that caught my attention.

People.

Chapter 20

Fraser

Paxton’s eyes went wide as I set his feet down on the ground, but before I could remind him that no one had seen a thing yet, the most adorable panic set in. “I was naughty, Daddy. I was…I was naughty in the forest and I…I talked back. You have to spank me.”

Oh, interesting.

Was it an actual scene he wanted to play out or was he trying to distract me from doing something even naughtier?

Keeping him close as we started to walk again, I took the next turn that would lead us back to my place and away from my neighbors, but I didn’t let that distract us from our fascinating conversation. I frowned and nodded slowly, shrugging and playing along. “You were naughty. You were asking to get your tinglies in public and you were humping Daddy.”

My possibly arguing neighbors were one of the human families that’d lived in town for generations, so I wasn’t worried about them hearing our conversation. They were far enough away that they couldn’t have picked up anything even if I hadn’t been doing my best to keep our teasing private.

Paxton, on the other hand, wasn’t thinking about anything but my dirty talk and whatever wild thoughts had led him to the idea of getting a spanking. His focus was entirely on our impromptu scene and how desire-addled his brain was.

“And…” He paused, stumbling over something in his head before randomly nodding. “And I was rude. I had bad manners.”

That was clearly something to get punished for in his mind because he said it with even more conviction than he had before.

I’d have worried more about what logic had gotten us to that point, but he was licking his lips and nibbling on them as he randomly grabbed the front of his jeans to give them a tug. They’d been fitting fine earlier, so I could only assume there wasn’t enough room in them any longer.

“Bad manners are a very serious thing.” To Paxton, at least. But I thought a check-in would be a good idea to make sure all the connections were making sense to him. “But using our safewords isn’t bad manners. There are lots of other ways to be naughty, though.”

He was quiet for several long moments before nodding slowly. “That’s right. Just using our safewords is one thing, but telling Daddy no and being unreasonable is another.”

His thought process was fascinating.

“That’s right.” Releasing his hand just long enough to reach out and rub his ass, I made a thoughtful sound. “But there are ways to help a naughty boy remember to be good and that he shouldn’t glare at his Daddy or call him a brat in his head.”

That’d been just a quick flash between us, but it showed the bond was strengthening and I’d loved it. Paxton’s eyes went wide and he nearly tripped over his own feet until I caught him. “I…you…that’s…”

Amazing, judging by his reaction.

“Yes, it’s a lot of things but naughty is one. You shouldn’t be calling me a brat.” It’d made me curious what else he said when he was grumbling in his head.
