Radek hated his dick for suggesting he’d be all alone with Emil. All night.

“Um… no, thanks, I’m still not feeling so good. I think I’ll just lie down early.”

With his ears hot and brain throbbing, Radek fled, grabbing the handset of the stationary phone on the way.

Every step upstairs was a pain, since lifting his thighs teased his overly sensitive genitals, so he pushed off his pants the moment he shut the door of his room. Beyond the uncovered window, high up in the sky was a thin crescent, but the moon would forever remind him of Yev, regardless of its phase. Within a split second, he remembered all the rough fucks during the full moon when Yev’s form became that much bigger and hairier, his teeth sharp, and his claws—

Radek’s cock throbbed at the memory. Fuck.

He quickly tapped in Yev’s number, and waited for the duration of four painful signals before Yev picked up.

“It’s Radek, but this is a strictly not-personal call,” Radek said at the pace of bullets fired by an assault rifle.

Yev must have lost the plot for a moment, because he only spoke after a second’s pause. His voice sent an army of ants down Radek’s body, even though it sounded different over the phone. “Is everything fine?”

Something snapped, and Radek uttered a soft whine. “No. I don’t think it is. I’ve been ill, but it doesn’t feel like a normal fever. I’m hot and sweaty, and I can’t stop thinking about… stuff. It’s like an infection of the brain. Do you… ever get like that?” He had to take a deep breath, because a shiver went down to his cock when he imagined the possibility of Yev touching him.

“What stuff? Are you feverish? Maybe you need a hospital. I could drive you,” Yev said, and by the sound of it, he was already on the move.

“No… like… sex stuff. Unnatural sex stuff. Even the fucking dog’s been sniffing me. I feel like I’m going crazy, and I can’t tell anyone else,” Radek confessed, collapsing to his bed as shame became too much.

“Oh.” Yev must have halted, because the background noise suddenly died. “You mean… you want to mate?”

Radek clenched his fingers on the phone. “Why would you use that word instead of sex? Is this something that happens to werewolves? I’m gonna fucking explode.”

“Will you let me in through the window?” Yev asked.

Hell no.

“Yes.”

“How do I know where you are?” Yev asked, but a slam told Radek he was on the way.

“I’ll leave the window open. I could use some fucking air anyway.” Radek bit his lip and let his nails sink into his palm. He couldn’t believe he was doing this, but there was no place left for reason in his overstimulated brain.

“Wait for me,” Yev said before disconnecting, and that brief statement set Radek’s senses into a frenzy that had him tearing his top and underwear off too, so the cold air that breathed at him when he opened the window could soothe all of his overheated flesh.

Radek barely felt human anymore. He was a horny animal stuck in human skin, and it wasn’t as if transformation could have helped. He’d tried it earlier and felt even more sexually confused, running in circles around the room and rubbing against his own sheets like a perv. Focusing had been so difficult it had taken him half an hour to change back.

The whiff of wolf fur, Yev’s smell, had him salivating. He could tell himself that he never wanted to see Yev again, that he’d just ask some questions, but there was no point when he knew it was a lie. His body wanted Yev, and so did his heart, no matter how deeply that went against his resolve to do the right thing.

And as Yev’s scent—smoke and wood— became stronger, so did Radek’s confused arousal. He wanted to clutch at the remnants of dignity and put on clothes, or wait in the back of the room, but once something creaked outside, Radek dashed for the window, his gaze penetrating the darkness to see Yev’s naked body on the porch roof below.

Steel eyes glinted when he looked up, holding onto a backpack.

Radek opened his mouth to say something sensible, make a joke to disperse the tension, but all he managed was a fox-like whine as he stared at Yev, his whole being focused on—like Yev had called it—mating.

Yev hesitated for only a second, then tossed the soft backpack past Radek and climbed inside, his massive form barely fitting through the window frame.

He was the fulfillment of all Radek’s needs—both the surface-level lust and deepest, most emotional desires.

“I’m here,” he said, already cupping Radek’s face, already stepping closer. His touch was fire.

Radek was kissing Yev before he knew it. No matter how much misery Yev had caused him in the past few days, Radek could have cried from the relief of feeling that sturdy body against him. A tremble shook him with need, and he grabbed Yev’s pec, squeezing it with a groan. No one else would do, no matter what his overstimulated imagination had suggested all day.
