It isn’t long before my hands are forming fists, and my back is arching to try to slow the wave of pleasure that is about to hit me full force.

He keeps a perfect pace, fucking me as if he knows exactly what spots to hit and how to please me.

If I were a woman who fell in love because of a cock, I would be in love with this man in a heartbeat. Or so I keep telling myself.

When I come, he slaps my ass as he removes his fingers from my clit, then he takes hold of my hips and pushes in as deep as he can.

I groan, and my body starts to fall forward, but he catches me with his arm around my stomach, not once slowing his movements.

“Pretty Lady,” he growls. I push back on him, and he chuckles before I feel him come, too. He grunts, says my name, and slaps my ass again before he pulls out. And just before I can collapse, he manages to slide one of the pillows under me. I hear him take a few steps before the rustle of clothes hits my ears.

Another knock sounds louder this time, and he walks out of the room. I hear voices, so I kick the heels off before grabbing whatever clothes I can find and slipping them on. Then I go to see what Letti wants.

“I’ll bring her back after we sleep,” I hear Milo say.

“Sleep?” Letti’s voice echoes down the hall.

“Prez—” I hear Mason start.

“You are guests in my house, and she—”

“She what?” I interrupt, stopping at the top of the stairs.

All eyes fall on me.

“Get back in the bedroom,” Milo growls, looking up at me. He smacks Mason on the back of the head, making him turn his face away.

“Cody came around,” Letti says.

My brows scrunch together. “Just now?” I ask.

She bites her lip. “It was earlier. It’s why I wanted you to come to the clubhouse so badly.”

“You didn’t want to tell me?” I say in surprise. I had all my calls redirected to her phone in case my sister called since I didn’t have my phone.

“I wanted you to have fun, but Mason insisted I tell you.”

Mason nods his head.

“You need to divorce him,” Mason adds. “You’ll need a good lawyer.”

I feel sick at his words.

“Do you want to come home?” Letti asks. “I feel bad being here. I mean, you and Milo…” she trails off.

“What did Cody want?” I inquire tiredly.

“He asked to see you,” she whispers. “I lied…”

“I’ll come back with you. Let me get my things.”

I run back into the bedroom to collect my things without sparing Milo a glance. Not even a minute later, he’s there, holding my jacket in his hand, which I slip on. I take a moment to appreciate his body, as this is the only time I’ll see him this way. He’s all toned muscles, and ink trails down his chest to that perfect V where his jeans hang low.

“Goodbye, Pretty Lady,” he says, leaning against the wall.

My eyes find his chocolate ones, and I suck in a breath.

He is beautiful.

In every single way possible.

Cody was pretty, in that boy-next-door, eat-your-heart-out kind of way, but that changed. Milo is drop-your-panties-and-call-him-Daddy sexy. He gets better with age.

I go to speak, but words don’t come out, so I give him a soft smile before I step past him and out the door.

Letti stares at me but remains silent.

What is there to say? I was having the best sex of my life, and she and Mason came and ruined it.

But the truth is…

Reality was always waiting.

Chapter 25

Milo

“To kill or not to kill, that is the question.”

Itried; I really did.

Telling myself that one night would be enough, but I was lying to myself as much as I was lying to her. And the fact that she may be leaving, fucking sucks more than it should.

“I gave you access to my home because I trust you, and you just stepped right the fuck in without any warning,” I say to Mason. He chews his bottom lip nervously.

“Letti was upset. I don’t fucking want her upset. I made a rash decision, and I’m sorry,” he says, shaking his head. “I’m sorry, Prez.”

“Get the fuck out of my house,” I grit out, pointing toward the door.

He nods and leaves.

I head back into the bedroom, where I picture Lissie’s beautiful fucking body everywhere. The way she moans, the way the moans slip from her lips.

She was in control—I let her have it—and I wonder if that fucking piece of shit husband ever gave that to her.

I can answer…

Categorically, he did not!

Chapter 26

Lissie

“Divorce is the only way.”

As I have consecutive days working at the bar, I don’t see Milo for the rest of the week. My job brings in good money, and that makes me happy. Mason has also set me up with a lawyer so I can get the divorce settled. I sent Cody the papers in the middle of the week, and to be honest, I just hoped it would be nice and straightforward, and he would sign them without any hassle, but I think that’s expecting too much from a man who always gave me so little.
