“Wes, God, yes. Just like that.” I rocked into his hand, urging him to go faster, to touch me more.

“Fuck, baby,” he said. “You’re so slick.” He slid his fingers all the way out only to glide them back in again.

Over and over until I was breathless and on fire.

My entire body responded to his touch, heat charging over my skin as he built and built my pleasure. My clit throbbed, begging to be touched. I moaned, my head spinning as everything inside me coiled, my release dancing right on the edge of his fingertips.

“Fuck,” Weston groaned. “You’re right there. I can feel it.”

He slanted his lips over mine at the same time he ground the heel of his palm into my clit, his fingers curling inside me—

“Wes!” I cried out his name as my orgasm tore through me, my thighs shaking as he continued to thrust inside me, his fingers drawing out the delicious release until I went practically limp against him.

Our breathing was ragged as he gently pulled out his fingers, his forehead resting against mine as I came down from the planet he’d just sent me to.

God, how was it that good?

How was he that good?

I’d never come like that. Not ever. And he—

A loud knock on my door jolted the both of us.

“Weston?” Crossland’s voice called from the other side of it. “We’re about to start, do you want us to wait for you?”

“I’ll be there in a minute!” Weston growled, and I could hear Crossland’s sheesh before he walked away.

Weston looked down at me, a question ringing in his eyes before they were covered with complete and utter panic.

“Wes,” I said, my own panic rising up my throat.

“I have to go,” he said before I could continue, walking backward and away from me like his body and his mind were warring with what he actually wanted to do.

My lips parted as I watched, still swollen from his kiss, my skin still flushed from what he’d just done to me.

“I’m sorry,” he said once he’d reached my door. “Fuck, I’m sorry.”

And then he was gone.

I was left alone on the table, trying to catch my breath from the best orgasm of my life and wondering what the hell I was going to do now since my best friend and boss had been the one to deliver it.

WESTON

Brynn crossed one leg over the other where she sat across from me on the plane. There was nothing inherently sexual about the move, but I was fucking semi hard regardless. Jesus, I was attracted to the simplest action as long as she was the one doing it.

The memory of her coming on my fingers played on repeat in my mind. She’d been so responsive, all fired up and ready for me after the accidental foreplay session we’d had in her office prior to the trip. It wasn’t enough, I needed more to sate the thirst I had for her.

But after I made her come, I’d run off. Just like she had after our first kiss. I could blame it on the poker game, on Crossland’s impeccable timing, but the truth was I was a coward. I’d gotten a taste of something beautiful, and I was scared as hell of losing it, of losing Brynn.

And now everything was awkward as fuck.

She’d been more than formal with me throughout the rest of the trip. It was like we were just business associates now and I didn’t fucking like it. This exact reaction to crossing lines is one of the reasons I’d drawn them in the first place. I couldn’t afford to lose Brynn, and I felt like I already had.

“Get a lot of work done?” I asked once the plane landed. It’d been a long-as-hell ride, but I’d done my best to give her space to work while she did her best to ignore me while doing said work.

I couldn’t blame her. It’s not like I’d given her an explanation for bolting, and it wasn’t like I’d tried to cross the line with her again. But God, did I want to.

“Loads,” she answered as we de-boarded the plane, heading for the car waiting for us on the tarmac. “It’s like I never left.”

“Good,” I said, hating the tension tightening in my chest. Things had never been so strained between us before and I didn’t have a clue how to navigate it.

Apparently, neither did she, because she remained quiet and distant the entire ride to her apartment.

“Want me to walk you up?” I asked.

“No, I’m good,” she said, hopping out of the vehicle the second our driver parked.

“Let me at least get your bag for you,” I said once I’d followed her out of the car.

“It’s really fine, Wes,” she said, and the way she shaped my name made my dick twitch. I wanted to hear her moan that into my mouth like she had back at the resort.
