“Brynn,” I groaned, and she fisted my cock, backing away just an inch.

“You have to be quiet, Mr. Rutherford,” she said. “That’s your punishment. To feel my wet, hot mouth wrapped around you and not be able to make a sound.”

Jesus Christ, this woman. She was—

“Fuck,” I whisper-hissed as she took me into her mouth without preamble.

I leaned back in the seat, clenching my eyes shut as bobbed up and down on my dick, her mouth like warm silk as she swirled her tongue along my shaft before sucking on my head hard enough to make me see stars.

“To be fair,” she said, pulling out so she could speak. “I’ve been thinking about this all morning.”

“God,” I groaned. “You’re going to be the end of me.”

She smirked, holding my gaze as she took me in her mouth again, stroking me up and down while lapping and sucking, bobbing up and down so quickly I could hardly contain a groan.

“Brynn,” I whispered her name in a warning, my entire body clenching from the way she was devouring me. I had seconds. Fucking seconds before I came. “Baby, I’m going to come.”

She sucked me harder.

Faster.

Never backing up for a second.

I tangled my fingers in her hair, holding onto her while lightning streaked down my spine, my orgasm bursting from me fast and hot as I spurted into her mouth.

Brynn swallowed me down before pulling back, my cock springing from her mouth in the most satisfying way. She wiped her lips, then beneath her eyes, standing up to look down at me.

“How do I look?” she asked, smoothing back her hair.

“You’re the sexiest woman I’ve ever seen,” I said, my chest still heaving.

She smiled down at me, glancing at my cock still out. “Put that away, Mr. Rutherford,” she teased. “This is our place of business.” She winked, heading for the door without so much as a glance back at me.

I hurried to situate myself, adjusting my suit jacket as I exited the conference room a few minutes after her. No one paid us any attention, and why would they? It was perfectly normal for Brynn and I to continue working after a staff meeting.

But that hadn’t been work, that’d been pure pleasure.

Pleasure my girl had given me just because she wanted to, just because she could, and she hadn’t asked for a damn thing in return.

“I can’t believe we were able to get you all in the same place at once,” I said from my spot at the head of the table, a massive Thanksgiving feast stretched out atop it. I raised my glass to my friends who were gathered around the table. “And it’s not even a poker game,” I said toward Gareth and Ethan. “Or a football game,” I said to Hendrix who sat next to Savannah.

“I’m happy for the day off,” Hendrix said.

“I’m just glad you didn’t invite that prick Doyle,” Gareth grumbled.

I laughed, then raised my glass in a cheers motion toward them and we all took a drink. “Happy Thanksgiving,” I said. “Dig in.”

The table became a frenzy of movement as plates were filled and dishes were passed around, a comfortable, easy chatter humming all around us. I grinned over at Brynn, who sat to my right, wanting so badly to reach across the table and take her hand.

But we were still playing things close to the chest, even if we’d had a perfect six weeks of being together behind us. The last thing I wanted was Brynn’s integrity to be questioned when it came to her position with the marketing firm, but I couldn’t help wanting to tell the world we were together either.

Surprisingly, it hadn’t come up that much. We’d been busy, both with the marketing firm and my usual crowded schedule, and we spent our nights wrapped up in each other as much as our days. We’d fallen into this incredibly comfortable rhythm where everything was different and yet everything was the same. She was still my best friend, still the person I went to with dilemmas or the latest viral cat video just because I knew it would make her laugh. But she was mine in a way she’d never been before. She was mine to kiss, mine to tease, mine to fuck, mine to lo—

“Damn, Brynn,” Ethan groaned the words after taking a bite of something off his plate. “Did you make these potatoes?”

Brynn nodded. “It was one of the things Weston let me cook on my own,” she said, shooting me a playful look.

“What?” I shrugged. “You’ve worked hard enough this week, I wanted to give you a break.”

“They’re incredible,” Ethan said. “Can’t remember the last time I had a home-cooked meal.”

“What, you don’t have a personal chef waiting on your every need?” Hendrix asked, laughing when Savannah nudged his ribs with her elbow.
