I drove to the clubhouse and entered the code to the high fence surrounding the land it sat on. At the end of the driveway, I parked next to a row of bikes. They were all different, whether it was the make, model, custom work, or even just the colors. The one commonality was the Iron Rogues logo somewhere on it.

Rhiannon didn’t immediately let me go when I shut off the engine, and I wasn’t about to ask her to. So we sat there for a moment until she finally let out a long breath and removed her helmet, handing it to me. Then she hugged me again and rested her cheek on my back.

“That was…I don’t even know how to describe it.”

“I’m glad you liked it.”

“Liked it?” Rhiannon leaned around, and I twisted my torso to see her clearly. “That’s not even close. I loved it! When can we go out again?”

I laughed and grasped her waist, lifting her up and around so when I set her on my lap, she was straddling me. “You been bitten by the bug, baby?”

She giggled and shrugged. “Guess so.”

“That’s my girl,” I teased, delving my hands into her hair and dragging her close for a deep kiss.

“Get a fucking room!” someone shouted, and I ripped my lips from hers to glare at the Iron Rogues’ captain, Stone.

“Fuck off, brother,” I growled.

Stone barked a laugh and strolled toward the garage.

I sighed and lifted Rhiannon off my lap. “Let’s go meet some people, baby.”

She looked uncertain and ran her hands nervously through her black tresses.

“Relax. No one bites.”

Her mouth curled into a sassy smile. “No one?” Her tone was filled with overdramatic disappointment.

I threw back my head with a belly laugh so hard my stomach hurt.

I fucking loved this woman.

RHIANNON

Before I met Dean, I never would have imagined that I’d have a reason to ride on the back of someone’s motorcycle, let alone visit a clubhouse filled with bikers. And I certainly never expected to see a bunch of flowers in planters at the entrance. But from what I’d learned about Dean, I wasn’t surprised to see them.

“If you want any purple panolas to add to your flower beds, I can get you some for super cheap.”

Pausing a few steps from the door, Dean replied, “I hadn’t thought about having an in with you since we’re dating.”

“I mean, yeah.” I giggled. “But what I meant was that Harvey has a bunch of them on sale because of a delivery mix-up.”

“Good to know. I’ll give him a call and order some.”

We walked inside, and I also wasn’t surprised to find several women inside after what he’d said about how his married club brothers were with their wives. But I was a little startled to see that one of the women was very pregnant.

Dean must have sensed my curiosity about her because he led me straight over to where she was seated. The man with his hip leaned against the couch arm next to her jerked his chin up in greeting.

“Hey, Ice.” Dean’s attention shifted to the pregnant woman. “Hey, Marnie. I wanted to introduce Rhiannon to you. She’s mine.”

Marnie didn’t outwardly react to him claiming me like that, but she giggled at the shocked look I shot his way. Rubbing her rounded belly, the diamond on her ring finger sparkling, she smiled up at me. “Let me guess, you met Viper this morning?”

“Yesterday,” I corrected with a laugh.

“I’m not even a little bit surprised.” She leaned against Ice’s thigh. “Hayes and I only met less than six months ago and look at me now.”

I let out a low whistle. “Dang, your man moves fast.”

“Damn straight,” Ice growled, dropping a kiss on the top of his wife’s head.

“They all do,” Marnie warned, pointing at Dean. “Even yours.”

My cheeks filled with heat, and I shook my head. “Um…not that fast. This is only our second date.”

“Better get a move on that, tail gunner. Or else you might get stuck at the back of the pack, like you do when we’re on the road.”

I didn’t understand Ice’s joke, so I tilted my head to look up at Dean, my brows drawn together. “Tail gunner?”

“It’s my position with the club.” He tapped one of the patches on the front of his leather vest. “I stick to the back of the formation when the club is riding so I can keep an eye on everyone for our road captain. And I take over for him when needed…which means I’m taking the lead for a while since Storm’s woman just had their baby girl a month ago.” His gaze shifted to Ice, and he added, “But even if I was still stuck at the back of the pack, that’d be fine because I understand the importance of taking things slow when needed.”
