She groaned, clutching at my shoulders. “You feel so good. So good.”

I had to shut my eyes. “So do you.”

“Let go, Chase. I won’t break.”

“I want this to be good for you.”

“It already is. I’m so close, please let go.”

I pulled back and thrust forward again. And again. She met my movements, and it was as if the dam burst. The gratification was too incredible to ignore. She was perfect around me. I started to move faster, pushing her legs open wider so I could go deeper. Thrusting, pivoting my hips, listening to her cries of pleasure. I slid my arms under her, pulling her up my thighs as I sat back, surrounding her. I captured her mouth, thrusting hard, swallowing her groans. She tightened around me, yanking on my hair, screaming into my mouth. Blistering heat exploded, the flames of ecstasy raging under my skin. My orgasm burst, pushing sensations into every part of my body. I was a mass of quivering limbs and uncontrolled breathing. Hannah held me tight, and I rested my head on her shoulder, banding her close to my body.

For a moment, all I could do was hold her. Keep her close to me. Breathe her in. I felt her tremble, and I turned my head, speaking softly in her ear. “Okay, Cinnamon? Are you all right?”

“Aside from not being sure if I can walk tomorrow, I’m good. More than good.” She met my eyes. “I know it’s been a long time for you. Was it…” She trailed off.

“It was incredible. You were worth waiting for.” I kissed her neck. “And not enough.”

“Um, felt like enough to me.”

I laughed, laying her down and hovering over her. “It will never be enough with you.”

She traced her fingers along my jaw, cupping my cheek. “Chase,” she whispered.

I turned my head and kissed her palm. Then bent and kissed her face. I rained hundreds of little kisses over her cheeks, forehead, nose, and neck. Everywhere I could reach.

She smiled, running her hands along my chest and neck, groaning as she felt me harden inside her.

“Again?” she murmured.

“Again.”

HANNAH

I sat at my desk, looking over some reports and sipping a coffee. I stared at the papers in front of me, not seeing a word.

All I could see and feel was Chase. I swore I could still taste him in my mouth, feel his hands on my skin. Last night had been a time of simply being us. Spending time together. Enjoying each other. I hadn’t intended on crawling into bed with him. But my bed felt wrong, and the room was too dark and too lonely. When I heard him call out and tell me he was waiting, I couldn’t resist. I didn’t want to. The thought of curling up beside him and feeling safe was too tempting.

I hadn’t thought we’d make love. We had agreed on slow, and neither of us planned for it to happen.

But it did.

Being with Chase was intense and emotional for both of us. I knew it meant something special to him, and it did to me as well. We fit together so well, our bodies moving as one. For a man who hadn’t been with someone in as long as he had, Chase was incredible. He was a giving lover, and I blushed just thinking about how many times he had made me come. I slept, wrapped in his embrace, waking up to his mouth pressing wet kisses to my neck, his cock hard between us. We made love again. Then this morning, he followed me into the shower and brought me to another orgasm with his talented tongue and fingers. I reciprocated by dropping to my knees and taking him into my mouth. He had groaned and hissed, his hand resting on my head, not pushing or directing, simply touching. He had begged me to stop, pleaded for more, then finally succumbed to his pleasure—loudly.

After, he insisted on washing every inch of me—some parts twice. We ran out of hot water, the last of the suds rinsed away with a lukewarm spray, but neither of us minded.

He kissed me long and hard before I left, promising me that he was going to grill dinner for us this evening.

I could hardly wait to see him.

A throat clearing made me look up, the smile on my face falling when I saw Dan standing by the desk.

“Hannah.”

“Dan,” I replied.

“I thought you were on patrol today.”

“Things changed. I’m in the office today. Helping with paperwork.”

I was good with paperwork and keeping track of files. I liked being organized, and I didn’t mind the work. I had to admit, at times being out in the cruiser was boring. The people of the area were law-abiding. Often, my most exciting call was a cat up a tree, helping a senior, or the occasional speeder on the well-traveled road between Lomand and Littleburn. The last robbery call I got was a kid shoplifting a can of soda at the convenience store. He had done it on a dare and was so upset, the owner didn’t want to press any charges. The kid had ended up pointing the finger at the boys who had dared him, and they were all spoken to by the police, with their parents sitting in. Then they spent a day picking up garbage around the town.
