"This is all too complicated. I'm going to wash up, and then I need some serious food.”

The hotel room phone rings right on cue, and Turner answers it. "Hello. Yes. That would be great. Tomorrow would be good. Is there a way to get some food up here? Okay." He hangs up the phone and turns his head back to me. "That was Hunter. He offered to talk when we had time tomorrow. Also, he will send up a variety of foods."

"Then I better hurry and get...oh my. I don't have any clothes."

I'll text Mark and have him ask Hunter's mate or the other mate to pick up some clothes for you."

"Thank you."

"Anything for my queen." He winks, and I hurry into the shower. It's about ten minutes later when I wrap a fluffy white robe around my body. I step out into the room, and the food is there along with a shopping bag from the store downstairs.

"Cat sent that up for you. She said she figured you'd need a change of clothes." He hands me the note with his cheeks slightly pinkened. If he’s an animal, which we know he is, you’ll need these. —Cat

"That woman is a lifesaver."

"Eat first, and then you can get dressed." He takes a seat on the sofa with just his boxer briefs on, looking masculine and sexy.

"Sounds like a plan to me." I pick up a tray of fruit, and Turner pulls me onto his lap. I let out a gasping giggle and some of the berries land on me and all around us. "Bad boy."

"Give me a bite."

"I don't know if I feel like sharing," I tease. He snarls and snatches the plate from me. "Beast. Give me my berries."

"Only if you promise to share, my beauty."

"Okay. I promise." I pout, and he presses his lips to mine before giving me the plate back. I take a strawberry and put it to his lips and he quickly snaps his teeth, tearing the sweet red berry from my fingers. I watch his sexy lips as he chews, and then his thick column of a neck as he swallows. Damn, he’s gorgeous. I lean in and steal a kiss from him, which is a huge mistake because I find myself pinned against the sofa with his mouth pushing my robe open and sucking on my nipples.

“So sexy, but I need to feed you.” He sits up and helps me. “How about some eggs?”

“I could go for some.” I stand, not caring that my robe is open as I grab a plate and then open the serving dish.

“Would you like some?” I ask when he comes to stand next to me.

“Thank you, but I can serve myself. You don’t have to do that for me.” He winks and grabs his own plate, scooping up his eggs. We make our plates and then take a seat at the dining table. This is one hell of a cool suite.

“Do you need anything, love?”

“No. This breakfast is so good.” I eat like I’ve never eaten before. I suppose I’ve never been this hungry, and I know it’s from all the exercise he’s putting me through.

“I’ve had something that tastes so much better,” he growls, leaning to kiss my cheek.

“Yes, but we both can’t survive on sex.” Just as I say that, his stomach rumbles.

“You got me there.” With one more laugh, we eat in companionable silence. I steal glances at my mate, wondering how I’ve let myself fall so easily.

Because we are meant to be, my mate.

Then maybe we should get to know each other better.

We have a lifetime for that.

“Stop staring at my tits,” I say out loud, giving him a pout to emphasize my point.

“It’s nearly impossible when I can see your nipples.” I look down, and my breasts are practically out of the robe. I grab my edges and adjust.

“Now, finish your food,” I huff and then quickly take a bite of sausage to do my best not to laugh when a puppy-dog look spreads across his face. “Seriously.”

He stops and takes my hands in his. “Am I pushing you too far, Maria? I’ve never felt like this before.”

Seeing his pain isn’t something I care for even just a bit. Pulling my hands away from his only causes him to frown even more. I shake my head and then cup his face with both of my hands. “No. I think you’re adorable.”

“Adorable? I’ve never been called that before.”

“Well, you are. Now eat, because I have a feeling that you don’t eat like a bird and you have more rolls in the hay planned for the day.”

“Yes, I just checked my schedule, and that seems to be all I have on the agenda. Sunup to sundown, it’s all hay day.” I shake my head and watch him eat again. Damn, my pussy’s feeling all tingly, so I slam my legs closed.
