“God yes.” His biceps flexed as he held me tighter. “Tell me what you need.”

“You. Just you.” The truth, both simple and staggering, sprang from my parched lips. I was so close.

“You’ve got me.” His voice was a husky promise, matched by the sincerity in his intense gaze. “Do it. Please.”

He was the one begging now, and that did it for me, big time, had me stroking faster and faster as he fucked me like he’d found a new gear. So fucking powerful, and all that strength was mine for the taking, mine to unravel.

“Cash.” I dug my shoulders into the mattress, the entire rest of my body levitating as I came. His thrusts jostled me so much that my come went everywhere, my abs, my chest, hell, even my chin, as I kept coming and coming. My ass spasmed around his cock, and he must have liked that because a shudder ripped through him. “Come on, Cash. Give it to me.”

He thrust once more, the deepest yet, and I would have given a lot to feel him climax without the condom, let him mark me that way too. His mouth opened on a wordless plea, barely any volume to his moans as he came.

Sweaty and shaking, he collapsed onto me, more welcome than any blanket, and I clung tightly to him lest he think he was escaping anytime soon. He rested his forehead against mine, both of us breathing together until he finally managed to untangle us enough to take care of the condom.

I couldn’t quite hide my wince as he pulled out, and he frowned. “Doing okay?”

“Never better.” I pulled him back down to me, loving how willingly he came, sharing my pillow and holding me close for long moments.

“Damn.” Laughing, he kissed the side of my head. “You better not be expecting more than toast for dinner.”

“Toast? Who says I’m letting you move?” Not caring one bit about how messy we both were, I snuggled more into him. I didn’t care if I ever ate again.

“We shouldn’t nap.” Cash let out a long yawn, which made me yawn too. “Gonna bork our sleep schedules up.”

“Fuck schedules,” I mumbled into his shoulder, eyes already closed.

“You win.” Cash yawned again. And I had. I’d won big. But as I drifted off, I hoped he had too. I wanted to believe this wasn’t simply my prize, a reward I hadn’t earned, but rather a jackpot we were sharing. There wasn’t much I wouldn’t do to make sure Cash won as much as I had.

Chapter Twenty-Four

Cash

I woke up in the loft feeling like I’d won the lottery and hit fleet week.

“How is that the time?” I blinked at my phone, which didn’t usually lie to me. Not much signal, but that should not affect the time saying close to noon when my body claimed it was more like seven-thirty.

“We had dinner after ten, remember?” Danny’s tone was much less concerned than mine as he looked over my shoulder at the phone. “And then there was that whole round two thing. Wait. Round two was before dinner. So would that be round three?”

“Four.” I groaned, hauling him against me until he was half- sprawled on my chest, phone still in his hand. “I definitely remember fourths.”

The final, very late-night orgasm from rubbing off together had fucking hurt, but in a good way, like my body had wrung every last drop of pleasure it could out of twenty-four hours.

“And there was talking. We kept talking and not sleeping. I like talking to you.” He offered me a dopey smile I couldn’t help but return. We had talked and talked in between the sex. Things we’d never seen but wanted to, things we had seen and never wanted to again, shitty parents, silly dreams, and random hobbies we’d be willing to try.

“I like talking to you too.” I kissed the top of his head. “I’m just shocked my body even knows how to sleep till noon.”

“Your body knows how to do lots.” He leered at me before his smile dimmed. “Maybe it’s just making up for lost time?”

“Nah. Maybe it’s you.” I kissed him again, which made him preen. I wasn’t simply stroking his tender ego though. It really was him. Sex had never ever been an all-consuming need like this, never carried this kind of emotional connection, and sure as hell never inspired me to go for fourths. “You’re a good teacher.”

“Ha. You keep showing me new stuff, like that thing with your…” He trailed off into a fit of giggles as my stomach let out a loud rumble. “Okay, okay. I’ll stop trying for morning sex and feed you.”

He scrambled off me, found a pair of boxer briefs, and headed for the ladder.

“You’re feeding me?” I tried not to sound too skeptical as I followed suit. Funny how it had only been a few nights, and already I had more clothes up here than downstairs.
