Finally, he lifted his head.

He looked a little … stunned. Maybe even a bit fearful.

I swallowed hard, not sure what his expression meant. Be brave. “Can … can we do that again?”

Theo suddenly grinned, whatever had been playing behind his eyes seconds ago disappearing. “Addicted to me already, little mouse?”

I shrugged, shoving off the worrying thought that I might be. “It was satisfactory.”

He ground into me, making me gasp. “Satisfactory, indeed,” he huffed gruffly, arousal thickening his words. “I just blew your fucking mind and you know it.”

“I blew yours back,” I insisted, pretty certain after what we’d just experienced that I wasn’t wrong.

“Hmm, perhaps you did. Care to see if it was an anomaly?” He gently pulled out of me and sat up.

“I think we definitely need to experiment again, aye,” I said nonchalantly.

He smiled at my teasing, but heat darkened his eyes. “Round two. Let’s see if I can make you come twice this time with just my cock. On your hands and knees with a good hard fucking.”

If he was trying to shock me, he would be surprised to discover all his words did was turn me on. Feeling confidence rise in me from how hard he’d climaxed, I pushed up to sitting, giving him a sly smirk as I turned and got on my hands and knees. I wiggled my bottom at him, glancing over my shoulder. “Go on, then.”

Theo smoothed his hands over my arse, caressing me until I shivered. “I think I’ve created a monster.”

“Is that a problem for you?”

He smacked me lightly. “I have a penchant for monsters, don’t you know. Let me clean up and suit up again. And then I’m going to fuck you until you see stars.”

Theo sprawled on his side across the bed before me in nothing but boxer briefs. I watched him, feeling a strange mix of giddy and apprehension as I nibbled at cheese on crackers. I sat up against the headboard in nothing but a robe, in desperate need of a shower. However, Theo had insisted we eat first.

We’d just had what could only be described as a sex marathon. And I think the only reason we stopped was because I was getting a wee bit sore. From everything I’d read and heard, I was extremely impressed by Theo’s stamina. Moreover, I was gleeful I turned him on that much.

Who knew?

I’d never have imagined when I knocked on his hotel room door all those weeks ago that we’d end up here.

Truthfully, I’d lost count of my orgasms today. I was exhausted and enervated all at the same time. Since we hadn’t eaten in hours, Theo disappeared into the kitchen to pull together a picnic on a breakfast tray.

We watched each other as we snacked. The air of sexual tension still crackled between us. In fact, it felt heightened, which surprised me since I’d have assumed it would’ve dissipated now that we’d slept together.

Not that the intention had been to sleep together.

But maybe the kiss experiment had just been an excuse on both sides to give in to an attraction that had been growing for weeks.

“Well, your shyness certainly took a holiday today,” Theo drawled, eyes glittering with teasing amusement and sex.

I smiled around a bite and waited until I’d chewed and swallowed before I replied, “I feel like I became another person entirely.” It was true. I’d been more confident naked with Theo than I’d ever been just talking to a man I found attractive.

“You even stopped blushing.” His gaze dipped down my body and back up. “I think I rather miss it.”

“I’m sure it’ll make a return,” I replied dryly.

We fell into companionable silence again, just watching each other. Then Theo cleared his throat. “What are you thinking?” He blinked, as if the question surprised him.

I considered my answer carefully. I didn’t want to overanalyze what was happening between us. I didn’t want rules or expectations. Whatever would be, would be. That’s what I wanted. But I’d been waiting for the last twenty minutes for Theo to lay down ground rules. To tell me that sex between us meant nothing. I was dreading it.

“I’m thinking I shouldn’t tell you what I’m thinking because your ego doesn’t need to swell any bigger.”

Theo grinned. “Oh, now I demand to know. C’mon. Give me your thoughts and I’ll reward you with multiple orgasms.”

I laughed, shaking my head, which only made him grin harder, like a mischievous boy.

“C’mon,” he insisted.

“Fine. I was just thinking that today was pretty good.”

He mock glowered. “Pretty. Good?”

My lips twitched as I shrugged.

“Oh, yes, with accolades like that, my ego is tumescent with arrogance,” he growled dryly.

Laughing, I grabbed grapes from the tray.

Theo huffed. “Is that it? That’s all you’re going to say.”

“What would you say?” I couldn’t stop smiling.

His eyes narrowed. “It was fucking glorious, and you know it was. My cock hasn’t stayed hard that long since I was thirteen. I deserve awards for what happened here today.”
