This one looks like Joanna Gaines on steroids.

While the two condos have identical floor plans, they are definitely not the same.

“Whoever owns this place really loves the farmhouse look,” I agree with a laugh. “There’s a Live, Laugh, Love sign in every room.”

“Interesting.” He’s walking slowly around the room as if he’s trying to stay away from me, and I’m not too proud to admit that it stings a little.

The last time I saw him, he couldn’t keep his hands to himself and had me naked in less than four seconds, panting and moaning in three minutes, and I believe I had that first orgasm at the speed of light.

Now, you’d think I have a communicable disease.

“Don’t look at me like that.” His voice is low, his hands tight in fists as he shakes his head and continues slowly stalking around the outer edge of the room.

“Like what?”

“Like you’re a lion and I’m a gazelle.”

I can’t help but snort at that. “I mean, you’re lean, but you’re no gazelle.”

He doesn’t laugh. He doesn’t even crack a smile.

“Okay, listen.” I swallow hard and look down at my hands. “You got me home safely. If you don’t want to stay, you certainly don’t have to. I didn’t mean to make you feel uncomfortable.”

I march over to the front door, my pleasant buzz from earlier long gone, and reach for the knob, but before I can turn it, I’m spun around and am staring into the greenest eyes I’ve ever seen.

“It’s not that I don’t want to be here, damnit.”

“Okay. What is it, then?”

I lift my chin, almost defiantly, as he stares down at me, breathing a little hard, looking more than a little intense. Jesus, he’s so fucking sexy. His dark hair is longer than I remember it being before and begs for my fingers to run through it. He has that hot-as-hell scruff on his face, and his eyes…my god, those eyes. I could get lost in those cool green pools.

I have gotten lost in them.

Every time I’m near him, my body has a visceral reaction, as if I’ve known him forever. As if I were made for everything and anything he could possibly do to me.

“You won’t hurt my feelings if you go,” I say into the silence.

Sure, it’s a lie.

But I’ll be damned if I’ll beg for him to want me. Not even Keaton Williams is worth that kind of humiliation.

“I shouldn’t want you so fucking bad.”

I don’t reply as relief floods me. He does want me. But I don’t reach for him because something tells me that it wouldn’t be welcome right now. I wait and watch with fascination as it looks like he’s waging an internal war against himself, emotions I can’t even name flooding across his face.

Finally, his face clears, as if he’s made a decision.

“So, see you later?”

But he doesn’t leave. He cups my face, touching me for the first time since we came into the condo, and kisses me like he’s the lion. Like he’s starving for me, and all the doubts I had over the past ten minutes are gone.

My hands dive into his hair as his slide down my torso and around to cup my ass. He lifts me easily into his arms, carrying me through the condo.

“Which bedroom?”

“The big one,” I reply with a grin before burying my face in his neck and biting him there.

I can’t help it. I’m a biter.

In a matter of seconds, I’m flat on my back on the bed, and Keaton’s standing over me, chest heaving, as he reaches over his shoulder and tugs his shirt off in that really sexy way that men do. When he’s bare from the waist up, I begin to salivate.

“Jesus, how did you get more abs?”

His lips twitch as he pops the button on his jeans, but I quickly scoot over to him and bat his hands away.

“I got this.”

He doesn’t argue. His fingers comb through my loose hair as I unzip his jeans and then push them over his hips and down his legs.

Keaton steps out of them and kicks them aside.

“You’re not wearing underwear.”

“No, ma’am.”

I’ve never considered dicks to be…attractive. I know that men are proud of them, but they’re not exactly pretty.

Unless you’re Keaton Williams.

He’s already hard as stone, and all I have to do is lean in just a few inches to take him into my mouth.

“Fucking hell,” he groans.

I push down until he’s touching the back of my throat before pulling up once again, my lips tight around him.

And before I can do any more, Keaton takes my shoulders in his hands and pushes me back to the mattress.

“Hey!”

“Can’t.” His voice is like gravel now as he kisses my neck and my chest, pulling my sweatshirt out of his way. “I want you too much. I won’t last, Sid.”
