At least once a month one or the other of them have a fit about something or the other and I just sit back and let her deal with them and their shit. Sometimes I want to remind them that she’s my woman, but then I remember how embarrassing my own parents are and keep my ass out of it.

It’s funny as hell though watching my sixteen-year old sons lose their shit because their mom’s jeans are too tight or whatever the hell they find fault with on any given day. I’m thinking their freaky asses have lost those privileges after the shit they pulled just a few days ago.

“Dad! Riley went inside to use the bathroom and saw mom and the aunts, even the grandmas, watching Magic Mike. It’s embarrassing.”

“You really wanna go there?” I gave him a look, which he understood very well. Fucker has a very short attention span if he’d already forgotten what his mother had caught him and his brother doing just a few days ago.

I have no idea what the fuck he’s talking about but since I’m pretty sure she’s not in there going hardcore on the porn with kids running around the place, I figured it was something a little R-rated that had his ass twisted. Though now that he brought it to my attention I was getting a bit curious myself since the noise level kept going up.

He walked away mumbling some shit about embarrassing parents and the others turned to me. “What’s that about?”

“Fu…” I remembered that I had two of the the trips not to mention most of the men had kids strapped onto them in one-way or anther. “Heck if I know Cord.” Like he doesn’t know how things get when the women get together.

I hadn’t seen Mengele in about five minutes and with shit being what it is was sure that was not a good thing. I was still trying to come to terms with everything that had happened in the last twenty-four hours. We’d spent more time this afternoon trying to figure out how three eight year old kids had pieced that shit together than anything else.

As a dad it’s hard to discipline your kid when the shit she’s done could save lives. Mancini was all for her carrying on as long as she was safe, but I’m not too sure I want my little girl that invested in this shit. If I leave it to him this fuck would have my kid in some basement somewhere hunting down assholes.

He’d already looked into her two new friends and was campaigning hard for us to call their parents and let them in on what their kids were up to. The only problem with that was the fact that we’d have to let them in on why the kids were doing that shit in the first place, so we’d all agreed that we’d hold off on that until we’d vetted them first while keeping an eye on the girls to make sure they didn’t get into shit.

I have no idea what I’m supposed to tell these people when the time comes about the shit my kid had got their kids into. It’s gonna make for a weird fucking conversation; damn. Half the people around here already think I’m bent as it is, not that I give a fuck.

“Who’s the old guy?” Logan nodded in the general direction of where asshole Grimaldi disappeared from.

“Who Grimaldi? Just an old guy with more money than sense who thinks my wife is his kid.” I filled them in on Grimaldi and the shit he gets up to before we went back to talking asshole fucknuts.

The one good thing about all this is that I haven’t had to listen to my wife go on and on about Todd and Caitlin, in fact for someone who’d been bothering my ass nonstop about that shit she’d gone deathly silent on the topic. Not a peep all day. I’m not sure I can trust that shit, but maybe her posse has her occupied with more important shit.

No sooner had I had the thought than I saw her and her crew heading back outside for refills. Caitlin was sitting with some of her friends from school and the boy was standing off to the side with my kid on his chest, glaring at Davey who’d come with the SEALs. Some of the girls seemed to be taken with him, but Todd seemed to think he was after Caitiebear.

I’m not sure how I feel about that shit in my backyard. Two males squaring off because of my teenage daughter. The women stopped and started talking to Caitiebear and her friends and I could swear I heard the word prom. My hackles started to rise immediately and I braced myself for their shit.
