Me:Meet me at Leicester Square.

Addie: Okay. How long?

Me:15min

I exited the black taxicab and searched for Addie. The sun peered through the buildings around as the crowds of people walked around the large water fountain showcasing Shakespeare’s statue. I walked up to the water fountain and saw Addie sitting on a park bench looking at it. She was smiling. I wanted to run to her, to breathe in her scent, but I stopped myself. I watched as she closed her eyes and leaned her head back, letting the sun shine down on her through the leaves of the trees. I stood there, holding my breath until I couldn’t any longer. I walked over to her with determination. Addie’s eyes flung open and her face softened as she saw me. I took hold of her arm and lifted her up, hugging her tightly to me.

“Daimon, I can’t breathe,” she murmured as she struggled a bit. But I still held on. I finally took in her scent and my world grew quiet and at ease. My Addie. “Daimon?” She struggled still.

“What?” I said, annoyed that she ruined my moment. I let her go from my embrace and watched as she staggered back. I put my hands in my jean pockets and leaned down to watch her annoyed face. Her ears got all red and she snarled at me. “Addie, keep it up and I’ll take you back to the hotel.” I winked.

“I’d like to see you try,” she murmured as she reined herself in.

“What? A husband shouldn’t be happy to see his wife?” I smiled as I took her hand and started to drag her off to the boutiques.

“It’s just I wasn’t expecting it,” she said, embarrassed.

“Well, get used to it. Remember you belong to me now and I get to do what I want to you,” I said as I looked back at her and grinned.

“You and your sexy smile.” She smiled back as she tightened her grip around my hand.

“Where’s your mysterious friend Chantal?” I asked as I looked around.

“She went to get coffee for us.” Addie smiled and pulled back my hand.

“What?” I asked.

“We have to stop and wait for her.”

She looked around and finally saw her friend coming with three coffees. Her friend was pretty. From her clothing, I knew she made money, and from her smile, I knew she was sincere. She had curves. They were beautiful, but nothing was as beautiful as my Addie.

“Chantal, this is Daimon,” Addie introduced as she reached for the coffee cups so Chantal could shake my hand.

“Enchanté,” she said as she shook my hand. I only nodded. “Addie has told me a lot about you.” She smiled, which got my attention.

“Like what?” I asked quietly, not liking the odds of two women.

“It’s a secret.” She grinned

“Addie…” I turned to her, but she held out a coffee cup to me and smiled.

“I didn’t have the opportunity the last time I was here to see all the sights. So come on, Mr. Evans, let’s get your ass in gear.” Addie snickered as she took my hand and began taking me along with her and her friend. Right then, two women was a crowd.

I hated sharing the time I had with Addie with anyone, but Chantal wasn’t all that bad, and watching my girl be happy, made me happy. Not that I would tell her.

“Mr. Evans,” Addie said as she found me leaning up against a wall, waiting for the both of them to emerge from the boutique Chantal wanted to explore.

“Yes, Mrs. Evans?” I said low in my chest as I watched her stunning hazel eyes drinking me in.

“Sorry about Chantal. I didn’t know you were going to come out with us today,” Addie said softly as she caressed my arms that were folded up tightly against my chest, but the moment she touched me, they eased up and I couldn’t not touch her. I reached for her by the waist and pulled her in, letting my forehead rest on hers.

“It’s okay. I’m glad you’re having fun with your friend,” I murmured as I closed my eyes, allowing her to take me to places I never wanted to go without her.

“I am happy, but I’d rather be with you now,” she muttered.

“Addie, we’ll have our entire lives. Trust me, I’ll be there even when it annoys you. It’s my job as your husband. So I'm told,” I mocked.

“If you plan to be an asshole, I plan to be the bitch,” she remarked with a smirk.

“It wouldn’t be us if we weren’t,” I retorted.

“True,” she said as she pulled away, reached up and kissed me softly on my lips.

“Don’t tempt me woman,” I growled quietly against her lips.

“But I'm so good at it.”

“Yes, you are.”

“Allô les amoureux,” Chantal called out as she stepped out of the boutique with bags in her hand.
