She made a little mewling sound, then gasped when I glided a finger beneath her underwear to drag it up between her slick folds. “Are you a virgin, Charlotte?”

There was a moment of hesitation, and I could see reality trying to break through the fog of lust. I circled her clit and asked again, “Are you untouched?”

She nodded, her breath coming in choppy pants now. I wanted to beat my chest like a fucking caveman. Charlotte was all mine. Would only ever be mine.

I pressed on her little button, and she whimpered. I was pushing my luck, but I had to know. “Are you on birth control, baby?”

She shook her head, and I kissed her again, testing my tongue with hers in a seductive dance while my finger toyed with her bundle of nerves. “Good girl,” I grunted.

Then I locked my eyes with her and warned, “I expect you to stay that way, Charlotte. When you finally admit you’re mine, your body had better be ripe and ready to be bred. Or I’ll tie you to our bed and punish you until it’s out of your system, and I can fuck you until you make me a daddy.”

Charlotte’s mouth dropped open, but then I pinched her clit hard and slammed my mouth down to swallow her cries as her orgasm washed over her.

I ate her mouth while my finger worked her through the climax, only stopping when she was clearly spent and collapsed back against the door. Her eyes were hazy, but she was watching me as I withdrew my hand from between her legs and licked my fingers clean. “Fuck,” I groaned as I closed my eyes and savored the flavor. “You taste even better than I imagined.”

My body was teetering on the precipice, and I fought to keep control so I didn’t spend in my pants like a fucking teenager. If Charlotte stayed much longer, that’s what would happen. Or I’d give in and fuck her up against my office door.

I took a few deep breaths and stepped back. “Go have lunch with your sister, baby,” I ordered while still keeping my tone gentle. She was still staring at me as though she had no clue what to do next. I chuckled and pulled her away from the door before straightening her outfit and running my fingers through her bouncy curls. Then I turned her around with my hands on her shoulders, opened the door, and gently pushed her forward. “We’ll talk later.” I patted her on her sweet ass and laughed when she tossed a glare in my direction.

When she emailed me an hour later that she had to leave early to babysit, I was disappointed that she was still running from me. Yep. Time to step up the game.

Rhett

The next morning, I waited in Charlotte’s office for her to arrive. I was standing at the window, hands in my pockets, thinking as I observed the city down below.

I heard her sweet voice greeting Lois, but I didn’t turn around until her door clicked shut. She was hanging up her coat, obviously not having noticed me yet.

“Charlotte.”

She screamed and jumped before whirling around to stare at me like I was the boogeyman. Maybe I was right at that moment. She’d certainly been running from me enough.

“Mr. Whitney! You scared the shit out of me.”

“Language, Charlotte,” I warned.

Her cheeks dusted with pink, then she seemed to realize that she was blushing and glared at me as she straightened her posture and marched over to her desk. I glanced around, assessing the environment. My office was completely glass on three sides. Two that overlooked the city, and one into the outer office. I hadn’t had the time to frost the glass the day before, so I’d kept us hidden by staying behind the door, which was always opaque.

Charlotte’s office, however, had one large picture window. Otherwise, it was four tastefully painted walls. A much better place for our...discussion.

“Is there something I can help you with, Mr. Whitney?” Charlotte asked primly after she dropped down onto her chair.

“So many things, Charlotte,” I smirked. I sauntered over to the chairs in front of her desk and lowered my big frame into one, making a mental note to have Lois order sturdier ones. “What shall we start with?”

“I assume it’s work-related. Is there a file I need to bring up on my computer?”

“You’re cute when you’re trying to be professional with me,” I teased with a wink.

Charlotte rolled her eyes and relaxed back into her seat. “What do you want, Rhett?”

“Hmmm, for starters, I’d like to hear my name in your sexy voice more often.”

“Only outside the office,” she conceded.

My eyes narrowed at her attempted manipulation. “You refuse to see me outside the office.”

“Funny how that worked out, isn’t it?”

I’d have smiled at her cheekiness if I hadn’t been so irritated by our little game. “Charlotte,” I rumbled in a low tone. “You’re quickly approaching the end of my patience.”
