Dune slowed. Caroline protested and looked over her shoulder at him. He pushed back in, slowly, and then out again. He repeated his motions until her scowl went away and pleasure took over. She reached between her legs, feeling for his cock as it entered her, and then massaged his balls.

“Evil,” he said with a hint of laughter. He tapped her ass again and then pulled away from her. She let out a cry of displeasure until Dune sat and pulled her onto his lap. Caroline straddled him and took his length into her.

“Bounce on my dick,” he commanded.

Caroline complied, slowly at first, then gradually picked up the tempo. Dune cupped her face in his hands and then trailed his fingers down to her neck and breasts, taking one of them into his mouth and massaging the other one with his hand.

Caroline threw her head back, relishing in the pleasure of his touch. She felt her body heat, as if filled with molten lava, and she could feel herself getting closer to the peak of pleasure with every movement.

Dune held onto her firmly, keeping her steady as she rode him, and then finally he released her with a soft moan. Caroline gasped and collapsed against him. A blissful calm washed over them.

They stayed there for a few minutes, just taking in the moment, until finally Dune kissed her neck and said, “You are incredible.”

Caroline smiled and kissed him back, knowing she was truly in trouble when it came to Dune.

A small stream of sunlight shone through the porthole, waking Dune. After a moment of consciousness settled in, he recalled the night before . . . Carter’s Diner, dancing, drinking, and Caroline—upstairs on the deck, the nap he warned her about, and then making good on his promise and made love to her until the dark sky gave way to red and pink hues. Her warm body sprawled out next to him, with her hair fanned around her, brought a smile to his face. He was happy. She made him happy.

Dune rose quietly and slipped on his boxers before making his way into the kitchen. He was certain there wasn’t anything in the refrigerator, and he opened it to verify. Much to his shock, the shelves had been fully stocked it and there was a note from his mom: Since you haven’t been coming home, I figured you’d need some food. He couldn’t help but smile as he pulled out a tub of strawberries, a cantaloupe, and some yogurt. The bottle of pancake batter caught his attention, and he reached for it, scanning the instructions.

He turned on the TV and kept the volume low while he worked on making breakfast for Caroline. He had no idea what she liked, other than her coffee, and while his wouldn’t be gourmet, it was caffeine and they both needed it after the night and early morning they had. Glancing at the clock, he blanched at the time. It was well after noon. He was thankful that this was the one day of the week he didn’t work and neither did Caroline. She didn’t have a set schedule yet, and he sort of enjoyed giving her the same day off as him.

With the pancakes finished, he plated them and put them on a tray, along with a bowl of freshly cut fruit, two cups of coffee, condiments, and utensils. Dune whistled as he walked down the hall. Thankfully, the door hadn’t latched when he left, and he could nudge it open with his foot.

“Good morning,” he said as he entered and saw her staring at him.

Caroline sat up in bed, the sheet dropping to her waist, showing him her breasts in the daylight. His mouth watered at the sight of them. Once again, memories of their earlier hours together came rushing back to him. He enjoyed every second of fucking her outside, but making love to her was a whole different ballgame. They had come together emotionally in ways he had avoided with others. Caroline differed from them. She was the type of woman you put roots down for. The type you built homes for and changed your lifestyle for.

“Morning,” he said as he set the tray down on the small table in the room and crawled toward her. He cupped her cheek and drew her to him, pressing his lips against hers. He went to deepen the kiss, but she shut her mouth tightly. “What’s wrong?” he asked.

“Morning breath.” Caroline covered her mouth.

Dune laughed, a deep throaty rumble that filled the room. "Care Bear," he said, his voice husky. "You had my dick in your mouth and I kissed you."

Their eyes locked, and Dune pulled her hand away and kissed her again. This time, she opened for him. Their tongues touched, exploring each other and the sensations that surrounded them. Dune felt an intense warmth spreading throughout his body, as if someone had suddenly flipped on a switch in his mind and he felt alive and invigorated.
