“Really?” Owen laughs. “Last night it was fuck me and this morning it’s fuck you?”
“Get out!”
Stella sighs softly. “Should we go mediate?”
“Nope. Let those two figure their own shit out.”
“I’ll need to get on a later flight, because I haven’t packed anything yet.”
I set her feet on the ground and kiss the top of her head. “I’ll get you booked on one before I leave. Someone from the team can pick you up at the airport.”
She nods, happiness shining in her eyes. “So we’re doing this?”
“Yeah, baby. We’re doing all of it. Together.”
I kiss her again, feeling like the luckiest guy in the world. The dream that once felt impossible is now my reality.
Stella’s my past, my present and now...my future. I can’t wait to marry her on a beach in the place that will always be ours.
That’ll just be making things official, though. She’s owned my heart since we were kids. However long my life is, I want to spend every minute of it by her side.
