Puppy: Really?

Sweet fucking boy. What is it about him?

Me: For sure. I’ll help. What are friends for?

Puppy: Yeah, what are friends for…blowjobs and studying. I wish we’d met earlier.

I chuckle, about to respond, when I hear, “Why are you staring at your phone like it has boobs?”

I fumble my cell, head snapping up to see Ty standing there. Holy fuck. He’d come into the house and headed my way, and I hadn’t even realized it. I press the button so the screen turns black and he can’t see whom I’m messaging. Then it hits me that I have code up on my computer, so I slap the lid down.

“Were you watching porn and sexting in the middle of Brax’s living room?”

“Because you haven’t fucked out here?”

“Totally different.” He winks, goes to sit beside me, then thinks better of it and takes the chair.

I roll my eyes. “I wasn’t jerking off. I was sending a dick pic, yes, but that’s all.”

Ty snickers, then drops his head back. “Fuck, I’m tired. School is going to kick my ass. Plus work. I guess it’s a good thing we’re only allowed to play college sports for four years. I’d have been fucked when lacrosse season rolled around.”

“You don’t have to work,” I remind him. It was a whole-ass thing when Ty first got the job at Shenanigans. His dad didn’t want him to work at all, but especially not at a bar. They’d since worked it out, and I’m proud of Ty for wanting to work to pay his way. It’s clear he’s trying to take more responsibility for his own life, and that’s awesome. But if it’s too much, that’s okay too.

“You’re one to talk.” He cocks a brow at me.

“He’s not my dad,” I counter because I can’t see him that way. Don’t know how. He raised Ty. That makes him his dad. He’s my sperm donor.

My brother frowns, and I’m immediately hit with a heavy wave of guilt, pulling me beneath the surface. The last thing I want is to make him feel bad, and I know he does. Ty blames himself, as if he has any control over Montgomery Langley.

“Fuck.” He rubs a hand over his face.

“It’s not your fault.”

“Logically, I know that, but it’s still tough. Even when I didn’t know you, you were my brother by blood. Now that I do, you’re also my brother by choice, and it just fucking sucks. We’re working on things, and I’m trying not to hold the past against him, but it’s hard because I care about you.”

This is the thing that most people don’t see in Ty—how big his heart is. He’s cocky and doesn’t take most things seriously, but damn, he cares about people.

“You can care about me and still have a relationship with the man who raised you. The shit between me and him is different. When I was young, he chose not to be in my life. Now as an adult, I choose not to be in his. You don’t have control over either of those decisions, and neither is your fault. What you do have control over is how you feel about me, and clearly, you see how fucking awesome I am, so I’m your brother by choice. You’re mine too.” I shrug, a little uncomfortable with the emotion.

“Wow…we’re sweet and shit, and we totally just had a moment.”

I shake my head at my brother, but his response couldn’t have been more perfect. It’s him, and it fits us.

“So…who had you looking at your phone the way I used to look at mine when talking to Brax?”

My heart seizes up and then tries to jump up my throat. I cough, and Ty laughs as if I’m not dying.

I give him the finger. “Fuck you. That’s not even close to what’s happening.”

He shrugs. “Whatever you say, little bro. I know that look because I felt that look. I didn’t want to fall for Brax any more than you clearly want to fall for whoever had you all moony. Feelings don’t work that way, man. I bet a hundred bucks you’re going to fall.”

I shake off his words. There’s no chance of that happening. I don’t do relationships. Theo and I are just having fun. “Who are you betting? Me?”

“Nope. Myself.” He pushes to his feet. “Continue sexting. I’ll stay in my room. Just finish before Brax gets home. He’ll be way grumpier about it than me.”

Ty closes his bedroom door, leaving me alone.

He has no idea what he’s talking about, I tell myself as I open my messages.

Me: I wish we’d met earlier too.

CHAPTER FIFTEEN

Theo

Last night I jerked off to the photo of Perry’s dick, and I can’t lie, I’ve looked at it numerous times today. It’s been twenty-four hours since I got the photo, and I’m pretty sure I have everything about it memorized. Each and every vein in Perry’s dick and in his hand. The way his clothes bunch up under his full balls. The way the hair at his groin is trimmed like he does some manscaping down there. His short nails that I’m pretty sure he chews.
