Almost.

I slowly bent down and kissed her lips, letting her taste herself against my tongue. Then I lowered my hips, rubbing my hardness against her other lips, sliding the tip in slowly and teasing it back out.

“Please,” she begged, shutting her eyes. “Please more…”

“I like that,” I said, brushing my mouth against her ear. “I like when you beg for it.”

Her hips arched up, and I gave her all of me. I rocked myself forward, falling deeper inside her as she pressed her hands to the headboard, repeatedly muttering, “Yes, yes, yes.”

She cried out in pleasure, in desire, in a complete state of ecstasy. That’s all I wanted. All I wanted to do from that moment on was get Holly off and leave her mind drugged in a daze of ecstasy. I let her come first.

Then again.

And again.

And.

Again.

Her orgasms made her toes curl into the blanket until I lifted her legs onto my shoulders. I placed a hand against the headboard, rocking deeper and deeper, listening to her moans escape her as I grew closer and closer to getting off. She pulled me in and gently sucked my earlobe. “Come for me,” she demanded, and that was enough to push me the extra mile.

Her wish was my command.

“Hol…Holly, I’m….” I couldn’t finish my sentence as my legs trembled against her core. I felt a wave of ecstasy as she smiled up at me, pleased with my pleasure. After I finished, I bent down and left a trail of kisses across her body before I collapsed beside her.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.

Afterward, we lay under the blankets, exhausted and somewhat stunned by what had happened. That was the last thing I thought a simple kiss would lead to, but at the same time, I wasn’t complaining. Not at all.

Holly cleared her throat, pressing the sheet to her body as she covered herself. “So, uh, yeah. We got the kissing thing down, right?”

“I think so, yes.”

She sat up and looked at me timidly. “Turn around. I have to get my clothes on.”

I arched an eyebrow. “I think I already saw everything.”

“Turn around,” she ordered again. “And shut your eyes.”

I tossed my hands up in defeat as I turned my back to her and closed my eyes.

Holly got out of bed and scrambled around to collect her clothes.

She tossed me my boxers, and I stepped into them once she announced she was fully dressed. I tossed on my clothes, too, and met her in the living room.

She was much more bashful now as if she wasn’t commanding me to get off just minutes ago. I liked that about her, how shy she grew after sex. Hell, there wasn’t much I didn’t like about her. The more she was around me, the more likes I discovered.

“So, okay. That was…” She released a breath. “Okay. Kissing is off the ‘to-do’ list. Cool.”

If she said cool one more time, I would trademark it to her name.

She held a hand toward me.

I raised an eyebrow. “What are you doing?”

“Shaking your hand.”

“I’m not shaking your hand after sex, Holly.”

“Listen, I’m overthinking and almost panicking, so I need you to shake my hand to make this seem somewhat normal with what just happened.”

I slightly chuckled until I saw the seriousness in her stare. She truly was overthinking it. So, I shook her hand.

“Thank you,” she said, giving me a small smile. “I’ll see you Monday for the trip.”

“Sounds good.”

I opened the front door, and she walked into the hallway. For a second, I started worrying that she was regretting what had happened, which left me guilty. That was until she turned to me, blushing slightly.

“That thing you did with your tongue here and here,” she pointed to both of her lips before a devilish look found her. “That little ‘lick, lick, pump, slide’ thing?” She placed her fingers to her lips and kissed them. “Chef’s kiss. Keep up the good work. I’ll leave you a five-star review on the dating app.”

I chuckled. “See you Monday, Holly.”

She walked away to the elevator, and I watched her departure until she turned the corner. My mind was dazed, confused, and happy. Happy. I almost forgot what that felt like. Leave it to Holly Jackson to remind me.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.

HOLLY

It was finally the day of the trip to my family’s house, and my nerves were all over the place. Kai seemed cool as a cucumber, which wasn’t a shock. Kai never showed many emotions. If he was nervous, I couldn’t tell.

Before heading to small-town Wisconsin, I dropped Grandma off to my neighbor for them to watch her. Afterward, Kai and I headed to the airport to drop Mano off for his flight.

“Text me when you land and have a good time,” Kai told his brother, messing up his hair before he hugged him. As Kai went to the car's trunk to grab Mano’s suitcase, I hugged Mano.
