He knew in his parents’ mind, this made it official.

Eliza was going to be his bride.

He was fucked.

If his parents found Eliza’s parents, then there was no stopping what they would do. This was fast turning into one giant mess, and it wasn’t supposed to be.

Sitting on the edge of the deck chair, he watched as Eliza laughed at something his mother said. She kept glancing at the pool.

He sipped at his beer and couldn’t look away.

His mother pointed at the pool.

Eliza nodded, stood, and he watched as she removed the robe, revealing her body to him.

The swimsuit she wore wasn’t revealing in the slightest, but it covered her body to perfection. He felt a stirring in his dick at the sight of her in the one-piece, and he wanted her. Some women didn’t like to have the additional pounds, but Eliza, she looked all woman to him.

He didn’t mind how her legs were together, no gap between, the roundness of her hips and stomach. He certainly wasn’t going to complain about her large, heavy tits.

His mouth watered as she walked into the water, giving him a clear view of her ass.

There was no way he could sit and watch. He took another long drink of his beer, and before he embarrassed himself, he stood and took a dive into the water, breaking the surface with ease.

He kept his eye on Eliza as she swam a few laps before resting near the edge of the pool, watching them.

Preston swam toward her.

“Are you okay?” he asked.

“Everyone keeps asking me that. Do you want to know the true answer?”

“Yes.”

“Kind of freaking out. I’ve got that bracelet that just makes this even more real.” She blew out a breath. “I don’t know. I feel … bad.”

“I get it.”

“Don’t you?”

“We’ve got another three weeks and six days to get through.”

Eliza groaned.

He laughed. “Don’t worry. There will be times it’s just us, okay. No family. No acting. How about tomorrow I take you out someplace?”

“Someplace that doesn’t involve getting your palm read?”

“Yeah. Someplace where there is no one to talk to us, or see us.”

“Sounds like heaven. They cannot ever talk to my mother. She would be down here planning our wedding. We’d have to go through with the entire thing as well. She’d be a nightmare, no doubt.”

He glanced toward his parents. “You think they’d be any different?”

“I don’t know. They love you though. Care about you a lot.”

“Do they?” he asked.

She tilted her head to the side, and he caught his parents watching them.

Preston thought about his dad and moved in a little closer.

“What are you doing?”

“We’re a madly in love engaged couple. We haven’t seen each other for most of the day. I’m doing what any insanely jealous fiancé would do.”

“And what is that?” she asked.

He wrapped his arm around her waist, drawing her close. “Making it real. Put your arms around my neck.”

She shook a little as she wrapped them around his neck. “There are kids present.”

“And we are present, who don’t care about public displays of affection,” he said.

“This wasn’t part of the agreement.” Her gaze fell to his lips. “We’re breaking so many rules.”

“Some rules are made to be broken. We simply didn’t think of the logistics,” he said.

“And what are those?”

“In my parents’ eyes, we spend all of our spare time pretending we’re not madly in love. We play the role for the people at work. The one chance we get to be away from them, and we’re not taking the opportunity. Kind of looks fake, right?”

“That’s what I am, Preston. I’m your fake fiancée.”

“But let’s make it believable.”

He didn’t know if he was doing this for his parents or for himself. Sinking his fingers into her hair, he brought her lips to his and kissed her.

Once again, he felt that electric current rushing through his whole body from one kiss alone. Closing his eyes, he traced her lips, and like last time, she opened.

At some point throughout the kiss, Eliza wrapped her legs around him, and he moved both hands to cup her voluptuous ass.

She was more than a handful.

He wanted her so badly.

His cock hardened, and all of a sudden, Eliza broke the kiss. He was pressed right against her pussy. She’d be able to feel just how hard he was.

Her gaze was wide.

“That’s enough R-rated stuff in front of my kids,” Roger said.

Preston smiled.

He grabbed Eliza’s hand and lifted it out of the water. “This good enough for you?”

“Perfect. Let’s keep it straight and narrow.”

He laughed, even though he felt no humor. Kissing Eliza was an addiction. His lips tingled, and he wanted to kiss her again.

They stayed in the pool for a good hour before his brothers and sisters-in-law decided it was time for the kids to go to bed.

Eliza left the pool first, wrapping her gorgeous body in a robe and making her excuses to leave. Preston followed ten minutes later, arriving in the bedroom to find the bathroom already occupied.
