I lift my hands to his biceps and dig my nails into his skin as I quicken my pace even more. My breaths explode over my lips, and my body begins to shudder as my inner muscles tighten around his cock.

“Mace,” I moan as my orgasm begins, and I’m not able to keep the fast rhythm I had going.

Not needing me to say anything else, Mason flips me over and grabbing hold of my thigh with his left hand, he thrusts back inside me and begins to drive into me with all his strength.

My moans quickly turn to cries as my abdomen tightens, and my body trembles from the orgasm ripping through me.

Soooo goooood.

Within seconds of my finding my release, Mason slams into me one last time before his body tightens over mine. I watch his muscles bulge as he empties himself inside of me.

I don’t miss how he catches himself with his right arm from dropping down on me, where he normally would’ve covered me with his body, reluctant to pull out.

When he lies down beside me, I turn my head and let my eyes caress his face.

A grin forms around his parted lips as he catches his breath. “What’s that look for?”

I smile softly. “You’re going to be an amazing father, Mason.”

He pulls me closer, and I press a kiss to his peck before I rest my cheek on his chest.

“How do you know?”

I glance up at him as I explain, “You’re already careful not to do anything that might hurt our baby. I can only imagine how crazy protective you’re going to be once the baby is here.”

Chapter 8

Seven months and two weeks later.

Mason

A scream tears through Kingsley, followed by her hissing, “I’m going to rip your balls off!”

She has a death grip on my hand as I use a cool cloth to wipe the beads of sweat from her face. “You’re doing so great, Hunt.”

“I’m not,” she cries as another contraction starts.

“Baby is almost out, Miss Hunt. Give me a big push,” the doctor patiently says from between Kingsley’s legs.

Her breathing is fast as she begins to push, and when she lets out another pain-filled cry, I can’t deal anymore. Seeing her in so much pain as she gives birth to our child makes tears well in my eyes, and soon they’re falling.

I’d give my balls to take this pain from her.

“You’re doing good.” I choke on the words as my emotions wreak havoc inside of me.

Kingsley lets out a broken cry just as the doctor says, “You have a healthy boy.”

The breath is knocked from my lungs because I was so focused on Kingsley, I didn’t know the doctor’s already holding the baby.

Then his cry mixes with Kingsley’s breaths, and I’m torn in two. I can’t make myself let go of her hand as my head snaps in the direction of the cry. I watch as a nurse cleans him up, and when she wraps him in a blanket and brings him over to us, my breaths become choppy as my tears fall faster.

The nurse places our son carefully in Kingsley’s arms, and an indescribable emotion fills my chest. We decided to wait until now before we knew the sex. We picked names for both a girl and a boy. Aria and Hunter.

Kingsley opens the blanket and inspects every inch of his perfect tiny body before she looks up at me. Her exhausted face is filled with wonderment as she smiles and whispers, “Look, Daddy, it’s me, Hunter.”

Leaning over Kingsley, I press a kiss to her lips and whisper, “Thank you, Hunt. He’s perfect.” I turn my attention to Hunter, and with my free hand, I brush the tip of my finger over his tiny fist. His fingers uncurl and then close around my finger with a tight grip.

The smile on my face is as big as it will ever be when I turn my gaze back to Kingsley’s face and whisper, “Will you marry me, Hunt?”

Her flushed face crumbles as she begins to nod, and I lean forward, pressing kisses to her mouth. When I pull back, she whispers, “Yes, Mace.”

I stay with Kingsley and Hunter until it’s time for both of them to rest. With a promise to Kingsley that I’ll only be gone a couple of minutes, I rush to the waiting room.

When I walk into the room, Falcon and Lake stop pacing up and down and rush toward me.

“How did it go?” Falcon’s eyes are glued to my face.

“Is the baby here yet?” Lake asks.

Still feeling overwhelmed, I struggle not to cry as I say, “It’s a boy.”

“Congrats, Mace,” Falcon says, and then he grabs hold of my head and plants a kiss to my forehead. I let out a chuckle when Lake slaps a kiss on my cheek, and then he turns to Lee and Layla and shouts, “Little Hunter is here!”
