“I want to leave now,” I tell her, and she frowns at me

“But” tears come to my eyes, and she hugs me

“Zoey” she holds me tight

“Please,” I tell her as the tears fall faster

“Of course,”

Niya grabs my hand turning to Colt, and we all walk out and head to the cars. We’d packed all of my things yesterday, and I’d said my goodbyes to Simone before graduation knowing the second I had my degree I was out of here.

“Honey, are you ok?” Maggies asks, pulling me to her and I sniffle wiping the tears away

“Can we go home now?” I ask her, and everyone looks at me

“Darlin’,” Razor says, pulling me in for a hug

“Why do you want to leave?” Niya asks me, and I look at all of the men who I know are busting to get back

“I walked across the stage; I have my degree,” I tell them all

“But your friends, don’t you want…” I shake my head at her

“No, I’ve said my goodbyes, can we go home.”

“Let’s move then,” Razor says, and we all get into the cars and make our way home.

Logan watches a movie on his iPad, and I sit watching it with him, Fast and the furious. I listen to Maggie and Niya talk about what they’ll do when we get home and setting things up for the funerals. They talk about how much food the clubhouse is going to need and what they’re going to cook, even about getting the rooms set up for the visitors. My mind drifting to Saint, will he be there (of course he will) god it’s been four years since I’ve seen him, I wonder if he has a girlfriend (I don’t do girlfriends) I remember him telling me years ago. I wonder how much he’s changed god my heart was racing, I’ve had the biggest crush on him since I was fifteen and now that I’m twenty-one will that make a difference. When the girls were asking me about dating yesterday, I didn’t want to say that I’ve been saving myself for Saint even though I know it’s just a dream I still wish it to be true.

As we pull up to the clubhouse there were trucks, bikes cars and people everywhere and we all get out, the guys being pulled in for a hug the woman stays with the men and I take the three kids into the clubhouse. As I walk in I look around but don’t see him, but I see the others Cookie coming up to me “Zoey” he says, pulling me in for a hug “damn girl you’ve grown up”

“How much have I changed” I ask him and he gives me the once over

“A lot trust me on that,” he says almost drooling and I smile

“Watch it” a deep voice says behind me and Willow puts her arms out for her grandfather and Tiny takes her

“What? I was just being nice” Cookie says and my smile widens

“Be nice somewhere else” Tiny says, pushing me forward “take the kids into the kitchen darlin’” I nod, taking Willow off of him and head into the kitchen to the women

“Zoey” Lena says as I walk in and she pulls me in for a hug

“Hey Lena” she smiles, but I can tell it’s strained, I place Willow into her high chair and set the boys up at one of the tables

“Ok, I’m here to help, what do you need?” I ask and she rubs my arms

“Well, some of the rooms need to be sorted out”

“Who’s in charge of them”

“Sheryl” she says and I look around for her

“Where is she?”

“Upstairs”

“Ok, can you watch those three, Niya Lilly and Maggie will be in, in a minute”

“Sure honey,” I make my way upstairs, but a little boy runs into me

“MASON!” is yelled and I look up seeing Widow

“Damn I’m sorry Ni….” She stops looking at me “Zoey” I smile and she pulls me in for a hug holding onto the little boy’s shirt

“Hi Widow, how are you?” she looks around and I see her face drop

“It’s gonna be a shit few weeks,” she tells me and I look around nodding

“Yeah, it is” I look down at the little boy and he’s a spitting image of his dad “Wow he’s grown so much” she nods

“Yeah, he’s a little terror”

“Mom, let me go, Logan and Junior are back” he wines at her

“Fine go,” she says letting him go “and don’t run” I turn seeing him smile, “I better go Zoey it was good to see you, how long are you back for?” I smile

“That’s me home now, I’ve got my degree”

“Wow, that went fast”

“It didn’t feel it when I was up until three studying” she smiles

“Well, you’re home now, better go Zoey I’ll see you around”

“Ok,” she moves through the crowd chasing after her son
