But the brothers will have none of it.

“Michelle, we told you that you need to relax around us,” Tom growls gently.

“If you have questions, this is as good a time as any to ask,” Gabriel chimes in. “What is it, sweetheart?”

I nod, appreciating their empathy. I take a deep breath and try again. “Have you always been in two-on-one scenarios?”

Tom and Gabriel look across the table at one another, pondering my question. They don’t look surprised, at least.

Tom starts. “No, not always. But we were each struggling with having our needs met, and we wanted to try something different to see if we could figure out what we were missing.”

I nod, appreciating Tom’s candor.

Gabriel then adds, “So about a year ago, we decided to try sharing a female partner. And while it was admittedly new for us,” he smiles at Tom, “we realized that the set-up works.”

I nod again, trying to understand their shared line of thinking. “But what about it works for you?” I look from brother to brother, surprised by my own boldness. “Is it the woman? Or the fact that it’s a threesome? Or the taboo aspect?”

They nod.

“Probably some of everything. We both get pleasure from our female partner’s pleasure,” Tom tells me easily, not at all taken aback by my question. “And together, we’re better able to meet her needs.”

“Her needs are always of the utmost importance in the relationship,” Gabriel adds assertively. “Physically and emotionally, and with two of us, we find it easier to make sure our woman is content and happy, if not floating on Cloud Nine.”

I can’t help but squirm at this information, turned on by the fact that these two powerful, strong, and devastatingly good-looking men want me to be the woman they’ll bring that pleasure to.

Am I really going to go along with this crazy plan? I wonder as I once again look from brother to brother.

Despite feeling conflicted about the circumstances that brought me to this lovely home, I can’t ignore my own feelings of lust toward these two men. They’re rich, handsome, and dangerous too. Their dark forms are huge as they sit on either side of me, reminding me of their bulk and power even if their words stay light. I feel flickers of desire sweep through my body, my nipples tight against my bra, my womanhood aching with need.

But there’s still so much I don’t know, I chide myself. So ask it.

Taking my own inner voice’s advice, I casually stab at my dinner while I continue my barrage of questions.

“How many women have you shared since you started doing this?” I ask, hoping that my voice doesn’t betray how desperate I am.

“Two or three,” Gabriel answers with equal ease. “But all of them were just casual interactions.”

“If I remember correctly, and I know I do,” Tom says. “It was three. But like my brother mentioned, none of them were serious. They were just fleeting relationships, if you can even call them relationships.”

I frown at this new information, a surprising pang of jealously running through my mind. The emotion is quickly followed by concern. Does this mean that I shouldn’t get serious about them? That they use and discard women when it’s convenient for them?

“I see,” I say quietly. But inside, I know I have to stay alert. These men can get anyone, and they’ve already told me that the relationships they’ve had are temporary. I can’t get attached. I can’t let my heart become mixed up in this whirlwind, no matter how handsome and charming they are.

“Hey,” Tom says gently, lifting my chin. “Why do you seem sad?” His deep blue eyes search mine.

“I’m not sad, not at all,” I offer, but even I can hear how false the statement sounds. I sigh. “It’s just that – I guess I thought maybe this whole thing wasn’t going to just be another passing fling. That’s silly, I know. This isn’t a relationship, like you mentioned. It’s more of a transaction, with my tyrant of a boss selling me to you guys.”

The two men look thoughtful, and then Gabriel covers one of my hands with his large, strong one.

“Michelle, you asked about previous women, and it’s only fair that we tell you about the nature of those assignations.” He squeezes my hand in a comforting manner. “They weren’t relationships. They were women that we met at various social events, and who gave us signs that they were interested in being with two of us, physically at least. I can’t even say that they wanted more. There are women out there who only crave the novelty of sleeping with brothers, after all.”

I swallow heavily.

“I understand, and thank you for that honesty, and I don’t mean to bring down the mood,” I say hesitantly. “I’m just trying to work through all of this change. It’s a lot to take in.”
