“Max?” she whispered huskily.

I placed the head of my dick at her entrance, and immediately she gripped my buttocks and pulled me forward. Locking her ankles around my waist, she waited, her eyes shining. I felt a rush of possessiveness. This was my woman, and mine only.

“Oh fuck! Savannah,” I growled.

“I love you so much, Max. I don’t want to be without you ever again,” she rasped breathlessly one second before I thrust hard and deep into her.

Yes, Savannah. I love you too and you will never be without me again.

Our bodies twisted and writhed as our pleasure mounted. This was what it was like before I went to prison. I could feel the difference between us again. That unnatural bitter barrier was gone. There was no holding back. I pressed on, urging her desire to once more meet mine. She did not disappoint. Our mouths fused, swallowing each other’s cries of ecstasy as we reached our peaks simultaneously.

Our bodies were drenched in sweat as we lay panting, still joined as one. She took great gulps of air while I buried my face in her hot shoulder.

I waited patiently, waited for her to be ready, then I raised my head and my lips found hers and our bodies were pressing against each other once more. It had always been like this, and I wanted it to be like this always. I would never let Savannah go again. Ever again.

Over and over, we made love that night, making up for those four sad, lost years. We slept on and off then reached for each other throughout the night.

By mid-afternoon on Sunday, we finally made it into the shower. After that I made us eggs, then we curled up on the couch like old times and flipped through the channels on the tv. I wanted her to stay nude, but had to compromise with her wearing one of my t-shirts. Underneath though, she was buck naked. I caressed her cheek when she seemed to gaze off into space.

“A penny for your thoughts?”

“There’s something I need to tell you, Max.”

“Yeah?”

She sighed and played with the hem of the t-shirt. “Since we’re starting with a clean slate, there’s something you need to know. Robert was not lying when he said he gave me money. He… well, he said he wanted me to patch things up between the both of you. I… uh… I’m sorry, but I believed him at that time and I thought it was quite a good idea.”

“Since we’re doing the clean slate thing. I have a confession too.”

Her eyes flew up to meet and search mine. “You do?”

I nodded. “Yup.”

“What is it?”

“I’ve had Robert under surveillance since I got out so I knew you had a lunch date with him. Right after receiving those pictures of you and Robert together, out of the blue you changed your mind and accepted my offer… so I thought he had recruited you to be his spy.”

“Wow. So why did you let me in?”

“I was going to use you to give him corrupted information.”

“Ah… and I walked right into your trap. Now I know why information about Robert’s company was lying around and accessible on the first night we spent together. You planted it.”

I nodded. “Damn right. The man was trying to destroy me. Of course, I was going to fight back.”

“I’m so sorry, Max.”

“We’ve both been angry and hurt for a long time, but the good thing is we've got everything out in the open now. Unless…” I raised my eyebrow. “You have any other confessions to make.”

She shook her head. “None that I can think of right now.”

“Good.”

“Mmm… now that we’re on the same page and the air is cleared between us, I don’t want Robert to get away with what he has done to us. He’s stolen so much from us, and it’s time we get it back with interest.”

I smiled with amusement. Revengeful Savannah was so cute. “How do you propose we do that, my lovely Savannah?”

She leaned forward, her beautiful eyes flashing. “Well, as far as Robert knows, I hate your guts. Why don’t we keep him believing that? I’ll put on the act of a lifetime. And, while we’re at it, I’ll accidentally feed him the corrupted information you left around for me.”

I shook my head. “You are sweet, Savannah, and I know you want to help, but I don’t want you involved. Robert’s my problem not yours.”

“No, your problems are mine,” she insisted stubbornly. “Do you think I haven’t suffered? I lost my baby because of him. I want to be a part of his punishment.”

I nodded slowly, the anger I felt returning when I thought of the child we lost, but I forced the anger away. Robert had already taken up too much of my time. This was my time with Savannah and he wasn’t going to have one second of it.
