“Can we go back to sleep now?” Riv muttered.

“We have to get up in two hours anyway,” I pointed out.

I didn’t wanna be a minute late for Shay.

River blew out a breath. “Yeah. Two fucking hours, Reese.”

Damn. So touchy.

“All right, fine.” I just had to make a wisecrack first. “So, you don’t want to stay up and talk about our feelings?”

He groaned irritably but couldn’t stop a laugh or two from escaping.

I smiled and pressed another kiss to his shoulder.

I felt much better now. Despite some question marks and concerns about the future, it was easier to relax knowing that River was going through the same shit. One way or another, we’d make it work.

“I love you.”

“Mm. Because I put up with you.” He was already half asleep.

“That too.” I, on the other hand, was wide awake—all of me—and I kissed my way to his neck instead. “You’re a good big brother when I need it.”

He let out a breath. “You better be saving that morning wood for our boy.”

“I’ll have plenty to give him too.” I slipped my hand down his body until I reached his balls. I cupped them and rolled them in my hand as I pressed my cock against his ass.

He didn’t pretend to protest. He reached for the lube on the nightstand and handed it over to me. And before long, he was slick and ready for me, and I pushed inside him in one fluid stroke and buried my face against his neck.

Fuck. This was it. Despite everything new going on—despite what an amazing thrill Shay brought to our lives—we wouldn’t be the men we were, the partners we were to our boy, without this, without what I shared with my brother. Without our connection.

“Let me get on my back,” he said quietly.

I nodded once and pulled out, then shifted onto my knees and watched him part his legs for me. I got comfortable between his thighs and guided my cock to his ass, and he slid his hands up my arms. As I pushed inside again, we met in a slow, deep, lazy kiss.

Sometimes I wondered if it’d been a biological mistake to make us twins, because every time we were with each other like this, there was a sense of completion I never felt otherwise. Nothing that dragged us down, but enough to be noticeable. Enough to keep us coming back for another hit from time to time.

Drawing one of his legs over my hip, I drove in deep and groaned.

He kissed me harder, hungrier, and let his hands roam my back, shoulders, and neck until he was everywhere. And yet, Shay kneeled in a corner of my mind, and I couldn’t help but grin. Because I was certain we could share this with him.

“What’s that look for?” Riv nipped at my bottom lip.

“We won’t have to hide with Shay. I think he gets it.”

“Me too.” He cupped my cheeks and smiled into the next kiss. “Speed up. Soon as you’ve come, I want my cock down my little brother’s throat.”

I let out a gruff laugh and picked up the pace.
