And then there was the sex. It had been…

Trying to ignore his morning wood, Adam forced himself to think about the sex rationally.

Last night there had been something that niggled at the back of his mind, but his arousal had prevented him from thinking about it.

The fact that Harry had prepared himself for anal sex before coming to bed was so out of character for him. That was the same person who blushed at innuendos, the same person who didn’t know what a prostate was. And Adam was supposed to believe Harry had stretched and slicked himself so thoroughly he’d remained wonderfully slick throughout the sex. So, either Harry was pretending to be naive and inexperienced, or...

What was the alternative?

“Good morning.”

Adam snapped his eyes back to Harry and found him blinking blearily with a soft, sleepy smile.

Christ, Adam wanted to fucking consume him, kiss him from his sleep-tousled head to his flawless pale toes.

“Morning,” Adam said, clearing his throat a little. “Sleep well?”

Harry nodded, yawning. “I haven’t slept this well in ages.”

“Good,” Adam said, leaning in.

His alarm went off, making him pause.

Fuck. Work. If he started kissing Harry now, he would definitely be late.

Sighing, Adam extracted himself from Harry’s arms and rolled off the bed, stoically ignoring Harry’s pout.

“I need to be at work earlier than usual,” Adam said with a grimace, grabbing a fresh pair of boxers and heading quickly toward the en suite bathroom.

He paused, noticing a strange expression on Harry’s face. “Everything okay?”

Harry lowered his lashes. “I just... I already miss you. I don’t want you to go.” He chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. “I know it’s silly.”

Adam wished he could laugh it off and tell Harry he really was being silly, but truth be told, at the back of his mind, there was still the persistent fear that Harry would disappear again. No matter what he told himself, he couldn’t completely convince himself that he wouldn’t come home to an empty flat that evening.

“It’s not silly, love,” Adam said, laughing inwardly at his own clinginess. If half a year ago someone told him he’d have it so bad for someone, he would have called them crazy. “I already miss you, too.”

Harry beamed at him. Adam had to forcibly drag his eyes away and make his feet move toward the ensuite. Christ. He felt like a teenager with his first crush. What had that boy done to him?

By the time he emerged out of the bedroom, fresh out of the shower and dressed for work, he found Harry in the kitchen, frowning at the contents of the fridge.

“There’s no food,” Harry said. “So I’m heating up the leftover pizza.” He turned to Adam with a puzzled look. “Why don’t you have food?”

Adam didn’t answer. He walked over to Harry, crowded him against the fridge and slotted his lips against Harry’s. Harry trembled and opened his mouth eagerly, turning the gentle kiss into a dirty one as he sucked on Adam’s tongue with happy little noises. It made Adam imagine what noises Harry would make with a mouth full of his cock, and he groaned, kissing Harry harder.

Someone cleared their throat.

Harry jumped away from Adam, pink-cheeked and breathless—and so beautiful. It took an effort to look away from him. But look away he did.

Seyn was staring at them, his eyes darting from Harry to Adam and back. There was a very strange expression on his face as Seyn bored his eyes into Harry. Harry, who seemed to be studiously avoiding Seyn’s gaze.

“Pizza!” Harry said, turning to the microwave.

Adam noted with slight bemusement that Harry continued to avoid Seyn’s eyes throughout breakfast. In fact, Harry barely spoke to Seyn while Seyn spent most of the time staring at Harry like he’d grown a second head. It almost seemed as though he was trying to communicate something to Harry, but Harry either hadn’t noticed or decided to ignore it.

“Hey, Adam,” Seyn said, finally shifting his gaze to Adam’s face.

Adam poured himself a cup of coffee and looked at him. “What?”

Seyn bored his eyes into Adam’s. Suddenly, a dull headache started building in his head and Adam frowned, rubbing at his temples. He usually wasn’t one to get headaches.

“Seyn!” Harry said sharply.

Seyn flinched, but Adam didn’t pay him attention anymore. He stared at Harry. He’d never seen Harry angry, much less furious. But he was undeniably furious now, flushed and glaring daggers at his friend, who was looking guilty and defensive all of a sudden. What in the world... These two were so fucking strange.

“Don’t do that,” Harry bit off, still glowering at his friend.

“All right, what’s going on?” Adam said, getting more than a little fed up with all the secrecy between these two. At least his headache was gone.

“Nothing,” Seyn said after a long moment of him and Harry glaring at each other. He sighed. “You’re making a huge mistake, Harry,” he said, his voice softer now. “Your parents will kill you.” He chuckled, shaking his head. “I had no idea you had it in you. Is that even legal to do that with him when you’re...”
