The others might not have wanted to party as much as they were curious, but then again, secret underground world aside, they are spoiled-ass rich kids. Partying is what they do best, though I bet it looks a lot different than this—a fully furnished showroom house Hayze broke his way into, swiftly removing the “model home” sign from the window before they caught a glimpse of it.

He took off a few minutes before we did to secure the spot, a place he’s been watching for a while. Of course, that was after he went and found Dom’s wallet and used the cash that was in it to buy beer and snacks, something I realized when we walked in, and he tossed the now lighter item to the dude.

Without saying a word to avoid the others arguing against it since he wouldn’t have listened to them anyway, Hayze called a few people to join us, not more than a handful of girls and a spare dick or two to occupy the others. My boy’s got my back like that.

The stiff is sitting in the corner of the couch, talking to the brothers, who are more relaxed now, a cloud of girls around them. They might not be the kind they’re used to, but then again, if Kenex and Kylo hooked up with Chloe, maybe they are. She’s what I used to look at and call a rich girl, but the label’s less fitting now that I know these girls. She seems more normal now, being she’s got too much money, but isn’t a ninja, billionaire Barbie like these ones.

I walk up to Rocklin, lowering a bottle in front of her from behind, and those big green eyes meet mine over her shoulder.

“You’re not above beer from a bottle, are you?”

Her glare is playful as she accepts it, and I watch as she brings it to those glossy lips, my teeth sinking into mine as she does, tasting the blood there.

Glancing up at the girls who hover close by, boldly staring right at me, I wait as they do.

Rocklin stands taller, pointing to the one with shiny, dark curls and a saucy smile. “This is Bronx.” She moves to the next. “That’s Delta and her men, Ander and Alto.”

I nod my chin. “Bass.”

Bronx smirks, eyes trailing over me as she cocks her head, tongue trailing along the edges of her teeth, and Rocklin shoves her in the forehead, making her laugh.

Delta smiles slyly as she eyes me. “You know, I want to say I’m surprised by you, but somehow I’m just … not.” Her giggle is light and airy as she pushes her lips to one side.

I glare, and Ander, the one with a tattoo on his hand, something I didn’t expect from these people, grips her chin, lifting her eyes to his as he arches a single brow in question.

“And why is that, baby?” the other one, Alto, says.

She smiles reassuringly, eyes shifting my way, so he tugs her closer, forcing her to look back to him, fully expecting his woman to answer. “Think about it. All the pretty boys begging to be in her bed, yet she gives them not a glance, and then here he is …”

“Finish the sentence, beautiful,” Ander commands, his voice low but not that low.

I meet Bronx’s smirk with a raised brow ’cause I’m pretty fucking sure I’m becoming the starting point of this trio’s foreplay for the night.

“The opposite of what she knows, but seemingly all the things she craves. Rough, tough, and oh so enticing.”

Ander’s eyes narrow but snap to Hayze when he says, “So is this like an invite-only situation or …”

Ander chuckles, but Alto stands tall, frown sharp.

Shaking my head, I dip toward Rocklin’s ear. “I’m gonna rinse your boys’ blood off me. Do not leave.”

I kiss her neck, winking at Delta when she traces the movement, grinning once I’ve turned, so they can’t see, and I hear a soft little smack on my exit.

See, not all rich boys are different from me. Rocklin would have gotten her ass tapped for that too, a little harder, but tapped nonetheless.

I find a towel in the cabinet in the hall and move to the room farthest in the back. I’m not surprised the place has no hot water, but the soap bottles in the shower have actual soap in them, so I can’t complain, making quick work of washing off.

I’m out as fast as I’m in, stepping into the room with my jeans hung open as I towel off my hair and step out.

I come to a halt when I find Rocklin stepping inside, closing the door behind her with a soft clink.

She leans her back against it, hands folded behind her, head flat on the cheap wood. “Bass?”

I nod, and she says it again, testing the way it sounds.
