Gavin grinned down. “We’ll be the sexiest grandparents the world has ever seen.”

“Eww, those words do not go together,” Brynn announced.

Ally thought her mom could pull it off.

A big mutt raced through the crowded space, romping around like the puppy he was. He leapt over camera equipment and nearly tripped the photographer in his desperate need to get to her.

Ally dropped to one knee, welcoming the baby she and West had agreed was their only one for now. “Hey, Taggart. How are you, you gorgeous buddy, you.”

“He’s going to kill me when he finds out you named a rescue mutt after him,” West said with a grin, reaching down to give the dog a pat. “Although he does look a little like him.”

“He’s protective and nice, and he’s very large. I think it fits.” She had fond memories of all the people at MT.

And she was glad she didn’t need them now. Since she’d married West, things had calmed down, and while her socials weren’t hopping anymore, she still had plenty of people who followed her for the right reasons.

Brynn and Major’s dogs, Duke and Dolly, joined Taggart, each pup in its own Christmas sweater.

“Can I get everyone around the tree?” the photographer asked. “And by around, I really mean in front of. Gentlemen, you cannot hide from me.”

Major groaned but joined them.

They all lined up, and Ally had the craziest rush of emotion.

This was her family, and she finally felt like she was a real part of it.

“Hey, you okay?” West whispered.

She was better than okay. She turned to him and kissed him while Taggart tried to climb up her body to get his kiss, too. “I’m perfect.”

“Well, I’m in a heavy sweater in LA in the middle of October, and there’s a Christmas tree in your mom’s house,” West replied.

“Welcome to Hollywood.” She turned back and gave the camera her brightest smile.

It wasn’t hard. She didn’t have to act anymore except onscreen.

She’d found her happy ending.
