Caspian looked up and let Gunner’s cock drop with a wide smile. “You were so turned on.”

Gunner was still barely breathing and too tired to feign coyness. “I’m such a fucking slut,” he said with resignation. He loved it. How would he deny what was obviously true?

“A very sexy one,” Caspian said, grinning as he crawled up the bed and rested his head next to Gunner’s. His arm was heavy as it lay across Gunner’s chest, but while their bodies cooled, there was nothing but pleasure in the loose embrace.

Gunner hesitated, but eventually turned to Caspian and hugged him. He fought the overwhelming feelings drowning him when Caspian held him in a way so different from short bear hugs and pats on the back. The embrace offered comfort that made the rough sex they’d just had seem less illicit. A sense of melancholy flooded him the moment he came and threatened to drown him, but Caspian’s presence was the life jacket keeping his head above murky waters of regret.

“Do you know if this hotel works by the hour? Not sure when we should leave,” Caspian said and yawned, lazily rubbing Gunner’s back.

Gunner put his cheek against the meaty pec with a smile. “We need to go soon anyway. You’re giving boxing lessons at seven.”

Caspian frowned. “What? I know nothing about boxing.”

Gunner bit his lip and pulled on Caspian’s nipple with a silly smile. “It’s important, okay? I’ll go with you and coach you through it.”

Caspian rolled his face into the covers. “Okay. Fine. But we’ll eat some real food right after. I’m already starving.”

Gunner considered that for a bit, but he was still stuffed since having pancakes and the sweet coffee drink. “I could eat…” he paused, and when Caspian looked up at him with raised eyebrows, he finished. “Dick.”

“Idiot.”

Chapter 10 - Caspian

Caspian would have never admitted it to Gunner, but he was sweating bullets. Just twenty minutes after their quick shower at the motel, his T-shirt was starting to stick to his back, but he’d used some Old Spice he’d found in the glove compartment of Gunner’s rusty truck, so there was at least a chance that no one would smell the fear on him.

It was one thing to carry his head high and send people menacing stares. Teaching a skill he didn’t have—quite another. He was setting himself up for failure, but he figured it might be all right if the lesson happened in private.

No such luck. Gunner drove Caspian’s lovingly-restored Southfield to the same goddamn gym where Caspian had been put through the worst humiliation ever, and while it now felt like a lifetime ago, he’d only woken up in Gunner’s body this morning. He’d been on edge on the way there, but Gunner turned out to be a surprisingly good driver, so he didn’t have to worry about his rare vintage baby at least.

Though, considering the vehicle was fully insured, that was still the least of his worries.

The gym was swarming with people, and by the time Caspian stepped out of the truck and faced its bright lights, his legs felt as if they were made of cotton, no matter how muscular they now were.

He was glad that Gunner’s presence provided him with a distraction, because he looked stupidly cute in the oversized hoodie he’d borrowed from Caspian. He’d gotten self-conscious about the tight, colorful T-shirt he’d worn to the motel, and said he needed to rethink his style after all. Caspian hoped the tight jeans weren’t going anywhere though. A part of him regretted that the hoodie obscured Gunner’s ass, but another part, one weirdly primal, was glad that no one other than him would get to see it.

“So… who am I looking for? I know this is short notice, but can you actually tell me if there’s an easy way of training someone without actually showing everyone that I don’t know what I’m doing?” Caspian waved back at two massive men, who gestured at him from a bench by the gym’s front door.

“The kid’s fourteen and only started a few months back, I’ll guide you through it. You’ll only be training one move today to perfect it, and I’ll show it to you before he comes.”

Gunner put his hands in the pockets of the hoodie, leading the way as if this place wasn’t a sanctuary for monsters. Caspian had been picked apart by them just last night, and Gunner was obviously aware of the risk of showing up here in Caspian’s body, so fuck only knew how he managed to stay so confident.

Caspian followed him inside like a sheep, confused as to why Gunner Russo would be training kids. Did he intend to pull them into some kind of gang activity Caspian didn’t yet know about? He did vaguely know most criminals started out early in their lives.
