The corners of her eyes crinkled as she giggled, and I gave in to a desire I’d had all night. Bending my head down, I licked the cute little grooves in her cheeks before giving her a short but deep kiss.

“Rest, baby,” I said softly as I resettled myself behind her.

“But—”

“We’ll deal with it in the morning,” I told her with a yawn. Then I rubbed my chin over the crown of her head before placing a kiss there and falling asleep.

Aiden

I could have done plenty of things to Bianca to bring her pleasure—and even put more of my baby batter in her belly if I got creative—without putting my cock inside her. I’d been dreaming about several of them, so I was shocked when I woke up and realized I’d slept through the night. I could only surmise that it was because I’d felt so content sleeping with my girl in my arms.

Speaking of…

I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes and looked down at the empty space beside me on the bed. “Bianca?” I called her name as I climbed off the mattress. I checked the bathroom first, wondering if I’d find her wet and naked in the shower. The room was empty, so I grabbed my jeans from the floor and dragged them on before walking toward the bedroom door, intending to—

I stopped suddenly and slowly turned back around, my eyes scanning the floor and every other surface.

Shit.

The only piece of clothing I saw was my shirt from last night, neatly folded on the dresser. Every stitch of Bianca’s clothes, even her shredded panties, were nowhere in sight.

It appeared that she’d snuck out as if this were a one-night stand, and she was doing the walk of shame. My temper flared when I thought about how many times I had told her she was mine. I’d even fucked her without a condom! Anger continued to simmer in my gut as I stomped to the bathroom to take a quick shower before I went in search of her. And when I found her, I was going to spank her ass until she couldn’t sit down for a week.

I struck out with my neighbors. They didn’t have any guests and had no idea who Bianca was. Frustrated beyond belief, I used the walk from their property to calm down. Before I reached the house, another possible scenario popped up in my head. What if Bianca was friends with the Kendall girls? My steps sped up until I was practically jogging along the walkway. I rang the doorbell, hoping someone would answer this time. To my relief, I heard footsteps coming toward the door a few seconds later, then the alarm disengaged. Good girls. Justice would feel better knowing they were being smart and protecting themselves.

When it swung open, I immediately recognized the girl standing in front of me. Well, I wasn’t sure of her name, but she was the spitting image of Blair Kendall, Justice’s wife.

I held out my hand, “You must be Justice’s daughter. I’m Aiden Bryant.”

“Oh, hi!” She shook my hand and gave me a warm smile. “I’m Eva. Thanks for letting us crash at your place. We wanted to get away, but Dad’s still smarting over the trip my cousin, Allison, took after graduation and came home with a husband.” She giggled, and it reminded me a little of Bianca’s musical laughter, reminding me of my other reason for stopping by.

Eva stepped back and gestured for me to enter, but I shook my head. “I need to get going, but I wanted to make sure you kids have everything you need before I head back to the city.”

“Yep. We’re all set!”

“Did everyone arrive safely?”

Eva nodded, then shrugged. “Well, except my sister. She’s coming up later today. Otherwise, it’s a full house.” She laughed at her own joke, and I couldn’t help smiling since she was a sweet kid.

I opened my mouth to dig a little more when her phone began ringing. Eva pulled the device out of her pocket and glanced at the screen. “Speak of the devil. Pardon me for a minute.”

She put the phone to her ear and walked a few feet away. “Hey, sis. Are you almost here?” Eva listened for a minute, then exclaimed, “What? You have to come!” Her face fell as she went silent again. “This is the perfect place to rest. Have Dad’s driver bring you out, then at least you won’t miss all the fun.”

After another pause, Eva sighed. “Yeah, okay. Feel better. Love you, too.” She hung up and pivoted on her heel before walking over to me. “Well, I guess we’re already a full house.”

She looked so sad. I wished I could fix it, but what the fuck could I do?

“Can I help with anything?”
