He looked down at the new underwear, skimmed his finger over the mesh cloth, and flipped it over. Then he jerked his head up and twisted around, looking at Emilio again. “There is no back,” he pointed out.

“Exactly.” Emilio’s voice held that wicked tone that always ramped Spencer right up. He reverently caressed Spencer’s backside. “An ass as fine as yours shouldn’t be covered up.” He pressed his front to Spencer’s back and whispered in his ear, “You said you’d wear these for me, remember?” Emilio took the underwear from Spencer’s hand and squatted, holding it out.

Spencer turned around and looked down, meeting Emilio’s heated gaze. “That was months ago,” he said thickly as he stepped into the jock.

“Mmm hmm.” Emilio looked up and licked his lips. “I told you I wouldn’t forget.” He stood up slowly, pulling the jock up Spencer’s legs. Already throbbing with need, Spencer whimpered when Emilio reached down and adjusted his hard dick. “There you go, cariño,” Emilio said, patting Spencer’s package. “You can put your pants and shirt on now.”

With shaky hands, Spencer pulled a polo shirt out of the closet, dropped it over his head, and stepped into his pants. “I’m going to be hard all day now,” he said as he slipped on his shoes. Not that he was complaining. He loved that feeling.

“Yeah, you are,” Emilio said, looking at him knowingly. “But I promise to take good care of you and your fine ass as soon as we get home.”

“Okay.” Spencer nodded, then looked up at Emilio and turned one side of his lips up. “Hey, since nothing’s covered up back there”—he stepped up to Emilio and circled his hips against him—“can I keep these on while you do it?”

“Jesus.” Emilio bucked and reached down for Spencer’s ass.

“Time to go,” Spencer said as he danced away. “We don’t want to be late.” Then he strutted out of the room, putting an extra sway in his step.

“You’re gonna kill me,” Emilio muttered from behind him as they walked down the hallway.

“No dying until you bend me over and top me hard enough for us to find out if the mesh on this underwear holds my cum.”

He heard Emilio gasp, followed by a thumping sound. “I’m okay,” Emilio said, sounding frazzled. “Just tripped.”

Spencer laughed all the way to the car.

EMILIO turned onto his parents’ street and started counting silently. He had gotten to three when Spencer said, “Emilio?”

“Yeah.”

“Do you know why there are so many cars here today?”

“Yup. It’s my parents’ turn to host the Alonso family Christmas party.” He tried to keep his voice calm and soothing.

“Who is the Alonso family?” Spencer asked, sounding a little nervous, but not anywhere near the way he used to get when they visited Emilio’s parents.

“My abuela on my mother’s side was an Alonso. Most of that generation has passed, but their kids decided to carry on the tradition, so they take turns hosting a big family party the Sunday before Christmas every other year. Between my mom’s siblings and her cousins, there are so many people on the list nobody’ll have to do it more than once, so it ain’t a lot of trouble.”

Spencer was quiet as Emilio pulled into his parents’ driveway and parked behind their car. “And I gather you didn’t mention this because you didn’t want me to worry?”

“Yup.” Emilio took the keys out of the ignition.

“So how many people will be here?” Spencer asked.

“I don’t know exactly. It’s different every year.” Emilio twisted to the side and took Spencer’s hand in his. “But I’ll be with you the whole time, okay? You’re gonna be fine.”

“I know.” Spencer smiled weakly. “I’m a little nervous, but I love your family. And you don’t need to babysit me. I know how to mingle and make small talk.” He took a deep breath and opened the car door. “Let’s go.”

EVEN with a house and yard full of people, they ended up spending most of the day hanging out with Emilio’s brothers and sister. By early evening, they were in the front room, stuffed on a love seat with Henry, the rest of the furniture and most of the floor space occupied by Emilio’s siblings and their spouses, and his father sitting in his ratty armchair regaling them with embarrassing childhood stories while his mother handed distant relatives plates of leftovers as they left.

“Oh, Carmen, wait just one minute,” Emilio’s mother said to a woman who looked vaguely familiar. “I have more of those olives you liked. I’ll just put them in a box.” She hurried away, leaving Carmen and the two men she was with waiting by the door.

“Nice to you see you, Carmen,” Emilio’s father said from his armchair. “I’m sorry we didn’t get to catch up.”

He started to get up but Carmen waved her hand and said, “No, no, you sit. You must be tired after such a long day. Alejandro had to work today and Lucia moved to Tucson, but you remember my son Adan.” She pointed to one of the men and completely disregarded the other.
