Ben's there next to me, kissing me gently on my neck and cheek. Once it passes I feel him at my opening pressing in, expanding me in ways I've ever experienced. I don't think heaven could feel any better. He thrusts into me as we stare into each other's eyes. My hands roam over his taut muscles and at last I feel safe. I give myself over to him fully letting him have everything he ever wanted and everything I ever wanted.
We thrust in time to each other pushing and pulling in perfect union. Our passion burns bright through the night as we push each other to the edge and over again and again. At last, exhausted, we cuddle up and I drift to sleep with his strong arms wrapped around me just as they had when I was a child.
Chapter twelve
I awake with a start. Ben stirs behind me then rolls off and stretches. I roll over and rest my head on his shoulder my fingers idly tracing the lines of his perfect form.
"Good morning," I say smiling.
"Are you okay?" he asks.
"Shouldn't I be asking you that?" I laugh.
He smiles then shakes his head. "I'm fine," he says. "Is this ... okay? Can we do this?"
"Depends what 'this' is."
"Us, me, you. We're ... related. I'll have to have my lawyers look at this ..."
"What is it you're talking about Ben?" I'm confused. Why would we need lawyers to do what we did last night?
"Marriage Vic," he says looking at me seriously.
"Marriage?" I stutter.
"Yes," he says like it's the most obvious thing ever. "I love you. I've loved you since the moment I laid eyes on you. I never want anyone else in my life. You and only you always. I want to marry you."
My heart skips a beat. Then I feel an elation I haven't felt since that first time he stood up for me in the cafeteria. I throw my arms around him kissing him frantically then we fall back on the soft bed, hands desperate to never let each other go.

"You look beautiful," Dad says standing back to admire me in my gown. "Are you really sure this is what you want?" He's out of rehab and doing well.
"Yes Daddy," I say. "Are you okay with this?"
My dad looks away then back to me. "Do I have a choice?"
"Because it's Ben?" I ask.
"Because he's a boy," he say only half joking.
"No Daddy, I've grown up."
My dad has tears in his eyes as he pulls me close to him and whispers in my ear. "I love you Vic. If he's the one that makes you happy, then I'm happy."
"Thank you Daddy!"
"Victoria, it's time!" my bridesmaid calls from the door.
I turn to look at myself in the mirror one last time making sure every hair is perfect. Then I turn and my dad escorts me. We stand at the start of the aisle. The church is filled with guests, family and friends. I look down that long aisle where Ben stands looking back. He's beaming and then the music starts and I take my first step towards the love of my life.
