Ugh.

He clears his throat. Curiosity be damned, this could get no better or worse, and I’m okay with remembering it exactly the way it is. “I should probably get going.”

“But you only just got here!” he jolts up, his chair falling backwards with a loud crash, and I burst out laughing because it’s totally something I would do.

He bends to pick it up, and I try not to stare as his shirt lifts ever so slightly, but I do.

Those. Freakin'. Abs.

My mouth goes dry, especially as he catches me looking.

“It’s just not a good idea,” I whisper, warning myself to stop drooling. He rights his chair, and as soon as his shirt falls back into place he's at my side.

I don't know if it's my own two feet or the chair leg, but as I start for the door I suddenly feel myself going down, and oh crap, I'm bringing him with me.

But he's fast and smooth.

God why does he have to be so fast and smooth?

Out of nowhere I feel his arms in what can only be described as a bear hug. His hands cradle the back of my head, catching the brunt of the fall, his body heavy over mine as we land, and his face incredibly close. Luckily my hands are glued to my sides because I'm afraid if they weren't I'd wrap them around him and never let go.

"Can we just pretend that never happened?"

God I must be a million shades red.

"Yeah this probably doesn't bode well for the NDA," he mumbles, his gaze falling to my lips, which sends both a warning and shiver down my spine.

"You know I was never going to sign it anyway," I push my face into his chest, feeling his chin on my head as he laughs. I smile before pulling back, and yet he still doesn't get off me. We’re inches apart, his gaze searching as I'm breathing hard. Then he moves one of his hands and I think he may touch my face. Actually I think he may kiss me, and oh no, I want him to.

I want Asher Montgomery to kiss me hard.

I want it so much that I'm ready to sign those stupid papers if it means it will happen. There’s no turning back, and for a second I think he wants it too.

Oh my god.

I think Asher Montgomery wants to kiss me.

But I still have a boyfriend! Remember him?

"Hm," he suddenly hums and we both look away.

Guess he wasn't going to kiss me after all... and I'm devastated.

"What?" he swallows like he knows I wanted him to.

"Nothing," I quickly answer.

"You don't want this, remember?" he raises an eyebrow and yet at the same time still doesn't move off me.

"Thats right, and neither do you."

"Right."

"Makes sense now actually," I grin.

"What's that?" he challenges, his hand landing on my hip, brushing small circles.

Oh god...

"You make women sign that document because you have a small penis, don't you?"

He leans into my neck and cracks up, and hell, I laugh too. But then his warm breath tickles my nape, sending prickles over my skin, and I feel him shake his head.

Then he does it.

He thrusts into my thigh.

"Oh!" I gasp, feeling it, and I mean, I. Feel. It.

Asher Montgomery's penis.

"Not small," he whispers in my ear, and my jaw drops because no sir, he is not.

The next thing I know he's pushing off me and standing, looking in every direction but mine.

“So I have the latest season of Game Of Thrones. It hasn’t even aired yet,” he looks down sheepishly, and it takes me a moment to move.

“I don’t watch it,” I reply, instantly wishing I did. Maybe I should have lied. "Wait, so you really want me to stay?"

"Yeah," he shrugs, and as he turns around he's surprised to see me standing right behind him. He clears his throat, and I cock my head to the side.

"We'll have to talk, you know. I won't sit in silence."

"Okay," he laughs.

"Even though I didn't sign your love contract?"

"Love contract," he laughs again. "First of all, it mentions nothing of the sort. Not even sleeping together. There are a few paragraphs about sex and other things of that nature, and when it mentions sex it's just that. Fucking."

"Okay well now I kind of want to read it. How specific do you get?"

"No," he rolls his eyes, and when I don't respond he clears his throat.

“You do that a lot,” I blurt, and he clears his throat again. "See?"

“Sorry... it’s uh... a nervous tick,” he runs his fingers through his hair.

Nervous?

“So I make you nervous?" I smile.

"Shut up." He stuffs his hands in his pockets, still waiting for my answer.

"Okay," I finally nod. "I suppose I could use a little more weirdness today," I swallow. "I'll stay for a little bit longer."

I'm caught off guard by the way he perks up.
