“Christ, Tulsa Rose, the view I have right here.” Once the head of his cock is inside me, my hands move to the tops of his thighs. The grip he has on my hips tightens further as I keep my feet planted, using my lower body so slide down another inch, still unaccustomed to how big he feels inside me.

“Ledger.” My eyes close, head tipping back, as I slide down further. The way my walls ripple around him, I can’t stand it anymore. I let my body drop, taking the full length of him inside of me.

“Soon, I’m going to see you swell with our child. With any luck, you’re already on your way there. I’ll be watching as your body transforms before my eyes, loving every fucking minute of it.” His declaration, it does me in. I open my eyes. Ledger looking at me the way he is, I know more than anything just how deeply he cares for me.

“I love you,” I say on a whisper, unable to hold the words in any longer, rocking my hips.

“More than words, that’s how much I love you, Tulsa Rose. No amount of words will ever be enough to describe what I feel for you.” He lifts his body up, still seated inside me, taking over as his lips land on mine. My tongue flicks out and glides along his as he leisurely devours me whole, consuming my body as well as my heart. What started off as a frenzied pace is becoming more of a delicious slow burn, and it’s one we both need.

TULSA ROSE

“Tulsa Rose, I did it, can you believe it? I think I’m still in shock, and if you were here, I’d have you pinch me.” I’m talking to Nelle a few hours later. My body finally said no more. Walking was painful, so much so that Ledger carried me out of the garage, through his house, up the stairs, and to where I’m currently soaking, phone on speaker and talking to my best friend. My pussy is literally battered and bruised. Ledger being Ledger is completely pleased with himself, walking around like a proud fucking peacock, naked, dick somehow still hard, and when he attempted to get in the clawfoot tub he added to his master bathroom, apparently, he renovated a few things in his house, the tub an added perk for me, I put my foot down, or tried to. Even that hurt.

“Oh my gosh, you’re moving to Florida! You better move into my house. Don’t even think about moving into town or getting an apartment. It’s not like I’m there anyways, and it’s mostly cleaned out.” I sit up, water sloshing as I do, arms flailing, legs kicking. Thankfully, my phone is on the windowsill using the speakerphone, away from the tub and safe.

“What the fuck is wrong?” Ledger comes flying into the bathroom, this time in a pair of shorts instead of the naked form he tends to like whenever I’m around.

“Nelle is moving to Florida! Oh my gosh, I could cry. Life is coming together. Everyone I love will be here.” Nelle lets out an audible breath through the phone. We both need each other, whether we wanted to admit it or not. Me leaving didn’t help matters, even when Nelle pushed me to go home, to be where I belonged. It meant leaving her, and I’ve hated it the entire freaking time. Ledger is amazing in every way imaginable, but nothing takes the place of your best friend, bitching about life over drinks and greasy food, where you can watch a show that makes no sense to the outside world, but with the two of you, there are inside jokes galore.

“That’s great, butterfly. Happy for you. Christ, I think I’m still recovering from the screaming. I thought you fell.” He walks closer. I gingerly sit back, legs back in the water. “Hey, Nelle! Sorry to interrupt your girl time.” He drops a kiss on my forehead and drags the tips of his fingers along the outside of my arm, awakening my body yet again. Too bad said body is completely out of commission. Even throbbing in need has me wincing.

“Hey, Ledger, no worries,” Nelle replies. Ledger turns around and walks away. I drop my head back, close my eyes, and let out a low mewl once he’s out of sight. I don’t know who needs to be pinched more—Nelle or me.

“Oh, girl, you have it bad. I’m not even in the same room, and I can feel the chemistry between you two.”

“So bad. The chemistry is apparently good enough to have me walking bow legged for days on end, too.” Nelle chuckles, not a hint of feeling bad for me in her tone. Man, what does a woman need to do to get a bit of sympathy around here?
