We are traveling again after the hospital, so everyone met here as it’s easier. “Here, wear this.” Matthew throws his jersey at me and I look down at it. “So they know you’re with us.”

“I don’t need to wear your shirt,” I tell him, opening up my jacket and showing him the T-shirt I have underneath is of the team’s logo. I won’t take off my jacket because then he will see that it’s Max’s name on the back. When I walked in the kitchen this morning wearing it, well, you can say my guy was more than happy because it led to a heavy make out session, “Fuck you make me lose control.” He whispered. “We don’t have time for this.”

As my tongue mixed with his. “I can help you,’ I said as my hand cupped his cock over his jeans, rubbing up and down, his moan drowned out by mine.

“Next time,” he said as I laughed at him trying to postion his cock in his pants before walking out to the car.

Now here we are all heading to the bus on our way over to the hospital. Once we get there we all make it to the fourth floor where Denise and Steve are there waiting for us. She comes to me, hugging me, and thanking me for doing this.

“Shall we?” she says. “Half will be with Steve and half will be with me,” she adds as half of the guys go one way and the other half go the other. Max and I both follow Denise. “The first patient is Katie, thirteen. She has Lymphoma. Diagnosed six months ago and is in her second round of chemo. She just shaved her head again, and she is having a hard time with it.”

I walk next to Max as he walks in first with eight other guys.

“Hey there, Katie,” he says and the other guys all follow his lead as he sits with her and they talk about everything. She asks them all questions.

“How many of you have a girlfriend?”

Denise and I stand by the door and giggle. Such a girl question. Most of the guys say no because they are mostly the rookies and are ‘playing the pussy’ as the guys call it. When it’s Max’s turn, I stand here waiting for his answer.

“I have a girlfriend.”

The rookies all howl at him.

“Ignore these rats.” He smiles.

They spend ten more minutes with her and then Denise takes them to the next one.

I wait for them to walk out before giving her a team bag so she can put all the stuff in.

“He’s so cute,” the little girl says as her mom smiles beside her. “He’s my favorite.”

I look around to make sure it’s just me, then lean in, and wink at her. “Mine, too, but don’t tell anyone.” I walk out and by the time the tour is over all the men are silent. Denise thanks them and hands them a thank you card that they made for them. Everyone gathers around Denise and we do a group photo. I don’t know where I should go and stand, so I go to the right and then look behind me and feel Max’s hand on my shoulder, as his other hand rubs against my other. We smile for the picture and then make our way to the bus. As soon as we pull off the talk starts. Everyone thanking God that their kids are healthy. It’s a little thing, but I have some of the rookies ask if they can go back. It makes my heart burst with pride that I did something so good.

On the bus Ryder is the first to speak up, “Aly, you think that I can go back when I have free time?” he asks from the back of the bus.

“I’m sure that could be arranged.” I look at him.

“Thank you,” Phil says next as Matthew nods his head. “We have never done this and it was so nice to be with the kids.”

“It was beyond awesome,” Ryder says, “seeing all those kids fighting for their lives. It just goes to show...” He looks out the window and everyone is lost in their own thoughts.

We get on the plane again. Everyone is bustling about. I sit down, Max sits next to me, and we watch Game of Thrones together. Once we get to the hotel we all get our keys and I make sure everyone is okay before going up to my room. As soon as I open my door and drop my bag, I hear a knock coming from the door in the corner. Getting up and opening it, I see it’s Max.

“How the hell did you manage this?” I ask him as he comes into my room and puts his hand on my face before taking my lips under his. My hand goes to his waist as I pick up his shirt, putting my hands on his skin. He lets go of my mouth, groans out, and puts his head back. I’m about to rip his shirt off of him when someone knocks at my door. Max steps back into his room as I close the door and yell, “Coming.” I swing the door open to find Matthew there.
