"Give me what I want, little one," I growl, kissing a trail down her chest to drag her nipple through my teeth. Christ, I could suck on these perfect little cherries all day. They're perfect.
"Yes!" she sobs. "Yes!"
"Fuck." I slam into her.
We both shout, her cunt clenching around my cock. That's all it takes to send me over the edge. I pound into her, roaring as cum shoots up my shaft and spills into her. She chants my name as she comes with me, writhing like a goddess, riding my cock from beneath me.
Fucking hell. I'm never going to get enough of her. Never.
As soon as I can breathe, I drag her back into my arms, panting. "Tell me you meant it," I demand, brushing hair out of her face so I can see her eyes. "Tell me, Magic."
Her lashes flutter, those beautiful blue eyes opening.
Before she even says a word, I read my answer in them.
She's marrying me.
"Bear, no!" she shouts, her expression changing from elation to shock.
It's the only warning I get before Bear launches himself onto the bed, snarling like a demon. His teeth sink into my ankle.
"Son of a bitch!" I roar.
"You owe me," Constantine mutters to Carlton, slipping into the living room where Belle's examining my ankle. "Told you that dog was going to bite him before the week was out."
Carlton chuckles.
"You assholes were taking bets on how long it'd take the dog to bite me?" I growl, shooting Constantine a death glare.
"Yep." He limps toward an armchair before lowering himself into it. "Honestly, I figured it'd happen way before now. He doesn't like you much."
Belle bites her lip to hide a smile.
"You know, I felt bad that you were shot," I mutter to Constantine, eyeing him over her head. "I've changed my mind. It's a pity they didn't hit you a few inches higher and a little to the left."
He lifts his hand in the air, flipping me off.
"Is he going to survive, Beauty?" Dante asks, strolling into the room with his sleeves rolled up his forearms. The front of his shirt is soaked. He's been helping Snow bathe Diz and Rosy.
She's upset that Bear bit me, but it is what it is. I'll never admit it to Constantine, but I expected it long before now. The dog doesn't trust me. I pushed my luck making love to Snow with him loose in the room. That's my own fault. He's ferociously protective of her and I'm the asshole who had her yelling. He doesn't know the difference between good screams and bad screams.
"The bite barely punctured the skin," Belle says. "He'll be fine."
"How's my fiancée?" I demand.
The room goes dead silent, everyone turning to look at me.
"You asked her to marry you?" Belle asks, her expression soft.
"Right before Bear bit me."
"Dimitri!" Belle beams, pulling me into a tight hug. "Congratulations. I'm so happy for you."
"Thanks, sweetheart," I murmur, hugging her back.
Constantine and Carlton both call out their congratulations, and then Dante steps forward, pulling Belle away from me like the possessive asshole he is.
"Congratulations, son," he murmurs, clamping me on the shoulder. His dark eyes meet mine, shining with pride. "I'm happy for you."
"Me too," I say. Christ, I can't remember ever being this goddamn happy. I just inherited seven crazy ass dogs, an evil stepmother, and God only knows how many years of dealing with the FBI, and I've never been more thrilled. Don't get me wrong, I'd been a whole helluva lot more thrilled without the evil stepmother or FBI complications, but I'll take Snow and the dogs all day every day, regardless of what kind of complications come with them.
Dante grins at me. "Feels good, doesn't it?"
"Yeah, it does," I say quietly. And then I grimace. "But I need to call Jude."
"For what?"
"We're going to talk to Dillon tomorrow. I want him with us." He may be on my bad side right now, but I still trust him more than any other lawyer in this town. I trust him to have Snow's best interests at heart. Once he knows the story, my brother-in-law will fight like hell to protect her and her interests. It's what he does.
"Shit," Dante says, little lines around his eyes disappearing. I realize then that Snow was right. He's been worried about me. Maybe for longer than I even noticed.
He's the only family Devin and I have. After our parents were killed, he stepped in. He didn't have to do it, but he did. He helped me raise her, helped me protect her. He sacrificed his bachelor years raising a little girl who wasn't his and protecting our family because he felt like he owed it to his sister. We'll never be able to repay that, but I try like hell to do it anyway. I respect Dante, more than I think he knows. More than I probably show.
