There were happy tears in Jessica’s eyes as she looked up at him. “Thank you, Reid.”
Reid sighed and let his head find the comfort of her breasts. He didn’t need thanks. He only needed them.

Gideon stood watching the sun rise over the mountains. He couldn’t help his smile. He glanced back at Jessica and Reid, who were wrapped around each other sleeping soundly. They looked beautiful together. His heart was so full of love for them he thought it would burst.
It was hard to believe that six months ago he’d believed his life was over. His family had rejected him, and his career would never be what he dreamed.
Maybe that dream had been flawed, he thought now as he watched the snow on the hills. What good was achieving his goals if he lost himself in the process? He had new goals now—a life and a home with Reid and Jessica. They would annoy him and push all of his buttons, and make his life entirely worth living.
It was snowing again. It came down in thick handfuls, raining from the gray sky. It blanketed the already covered ground. There was every possibility the road would be closed, and they would be stuck here in this frozen paradise. Gideon yawned, not at all worried. It could snow all it liked.
He climbed back into bed, and Jessica immediately turned into his arms. Reid snuggled closer to her and his hand trailed over her waist to rest on Gideon’s chest. They were together, connected.
Let it snow. He would never be cold again.
