“Snow White gazed upon the seven dwarfs. Delighting in their antics as they each introduced themselves. Happy, Grumpy, Sleepy, Doc, Bashful, Dopey and Sneezy.”
“You are definitely Dopey,” laughed Magni as he punched Steen in the arm.
I looked up to see all seven of my men watching me rock their baby to sleep.
“Dagr has to be Grumpy!” piped in Tore.
“Come on, Snow. Tell us which one is which in your tale,” cajoled Steen.
I just smiled…and then stuck my tongue out at them, knowing my bit of spirited sass would get their attention.
“Looks like someone needs a little reminder on how to behave.”
My stomach flipped in anticipation. I watched as the men discussed which of them would punish me. As they turned back to me, I could see Dagr rolling up his sleeves. My cheeks flamed knowing he was the one who won…also knowing what it would mean. Time spent as his hunting trophy, dangling from the antler chandelier while he pounded into my bottom, which was still sore from Freyr’s attentions last night.
Tore took the babe from my arms just as Dagr flipped me over his shoulder.
Yes, I had certainly gotten my fairy-tale ending.
