“Do you have a girlfriend or wife I can send these to?” I ask him as he wipes the ash off the stomach with a wet cloth. “I’d bet she’d love to see these.”

“I’ll let you know when I get one,” he says with a grin. “Keep ‘em ready, just in case.”

“I bet you’ll have one after this calendar comes out,” I say as I cycle through the photos, grinning at all of the good shots I got. “You’ll have women battering down your door.”

I’m not sure if he looks excited or horrified by that thought.

I’ll have to come back for Ethan, Lincoln, and Colton. They’re not working today and apparently they went fly fishing on some river.

I shiver with nervous excitement now that it’s James’ turn. I’ve put it off as long as I can. He’s up next.

“James?” I say, feeling my cheeks getting red as I hold my camera up between us like a shield. “Are you ready?”

His brown eyes darken as he tosses his cards on the table and stands up. “I’m all yours.”

CHAPTER EIGHT

Victoria

“Where would you like to go?” I ask as goosebumps rocket along my skin. Just being in this man’s presence gets my body all topsy-turvy.

“Somewhere we can be alone,” James says in a low voice.

“Alone is good,” I whisper. “I mean, for the picture.”

The guys are hanging out all over the station and I can’t see anywhere private. I’m not sure what’s upstairs, but there are probably a lot of beds.

“What’s the roof like?” I ask.

“Come on up and I’ll show you.”

He guides me to the spiral metal staircase and I head up it with my heart racing. I can feel his heated eyes behind me, so I put a little sway in my step as I walk up the stairs, moving my hips and ass to tease him.

We pass the second floor which has a bunch of small rooms with neatly made beds and continue up to the roof.

“Wow,” I say when I open the door and see the spectacular view. There aren’t any high buildings in town so from up here you can see the stunning Montana mountains all around. It’s breathtaking.

It’s so nice and comfy up here too. There’s a long raised garden bed along one side with the juiciest looking tomatoes I’ve ever seen and four Adirondack chairs placed around a propane fireplace. Everywhere I look are big healthy plants and gorgeous colorful flowers.

“Ethan has a green thumb,” James tells me when he catches me looking around.

“It’s beautiful up here.”

“You should see it at night when all of the stars are out.”

I smile as I imagine sitting around that fire with this man and a bottle of wine. “I can imagine. You’ll have to invite me some time.”

The way he’s looking at me makes me think we’d be doing a lot more than looking at stars.

“So, let’s take a few shots with the mountains in the background,” I say before things get too heated. “What would you like to wear?”

He pulls off his T-shirt and tosses it onto the chair.

“Or not wear…”

I swallow hard as I stare at all of those big tattooed muscles.

“Should I stand over here?” he asks as he walks over to the spot with the large snow-capped mountain in the distance.

“Yeah,” I say, trying to keep it together. My heart is racing, my stomach is all fluttery, and my cheeks are bright red. Will I ever be able to act normal around this guy?

I start to fidget with my camera to make it seem like I’m not freaking out, but I am. He’s so hot, it’s intimidating.

The fact that we haven’t mentioned the kiss from last night isn’t making it any easier. It’s like there’s a sexually-charged cloud hanging over our heads.

“So, just act natural,” I say as I look at him through the lens. Oh, lordy… He’s the sexiest man alive. He might just become famous after this. I wouldn’t be surprised if he went viral.

“Like that,” I say as I start clicking away. He doesn’t smile, but it’s perfect. He looks better with that intense look. “That’s great.”

“I’m sorry about the eye,” he says, pointing to his black eye. “Can you photoshop it out?”

“I think so,” I say even though there’s no way I’m photoshopping it out. It makes him look so much sexier.

Now that I’m hidden behind the camera, I can gawk at his body all I want. I zoom in on his muscular arm and get a little turned on by his inked-up muscles. The memory of him dominating his fight last night returns to me and I have to make a conscious effort to keep my breathing under control.

The firetruck siren suddenly goes off, blaring downstairs. James goes on full alert and I snap pictures while he grabs his T-shirt and yanks it back on.
