I kiss Erik back, and we get a little carried away until Brax clears his throat.
“I need fuel first,” he says. “Anyone have any takeout preferences?”
“We haven’t had Indian in a while,” Gray says.
“Sounds good.” He opens the app and starts selecting our usual dishes.
Once we’ve eaten and put the leftovers away, Erik picks me up and slings me over his shoulder. “Sandwiches for dessert,” he announces, and I giggle as he carries me to our bedroom.
Life is pretty damn good.
