“I’m glad I ran into him,” Colt said with a grin. “Come on. Daycare first. Then, tour bus.”

CHAPTER 9

“I can’t believe you fit the whole band on that tour bus. Does anyone snore in those bunks? Everyone has to hear it,” Harper grilled him as they walked back into her apartment in the early afternoon.

“Oh, we have a couple of snorers,” Colt confirmed. “I wear ear plugs.”

“That’s smart. Does anyone…” She stopped before she could finish that question. Harper didn’t need to know.

“We decided early on that any sexual exploits would take place somewhere other than the bus. Security is a big reason, but we all wanted a space that was free of groupies,” Colt shared.

“So, no one in the group has hooked up?”

“One of the back-up singers is married to our lead guitarist. Everyone else has a family back in their hometown.”

“That’s a lonely life.” Harper frowned at him.

“It is. The band has been together for a long time. The lead guitarist and the drummer are the same people I found to help me record my first song. My plan is to find some land and create a compound for all our families,” he told her.

“Wouldn’t you get sick of each other?”

“Did you see how small the space is on the tour bus? If everyone had their own house, it would be like living miles apart when we’re off the road.”

“Hmm. I’ll be interested in hearing more about your plans when you get it hammered out,” Harper said airily. She doubted he’d ever be able to follow through with the idea.

“Let’s talk about you and me,” Colt suggested, changing the subject.

“You want to build us a house, too?” she teased.

“I do. But right now, I have other things on my mind.”

Colt walked forward to scoop her up in his arms and carry Harper to the oversized leather sectional that filled her family room. Sitting down, he held her close.

“I’d like to talk to you as a Daddy to his Little girl.”

“Really? I mean, you’re not actually my Daddy,” she blurted, feeling her cheeks heat with embarrassment.

“Do you believe that in here?” Cole questioned, pressing a finger against her chest above her heart.

Harper started to shake her head, but his gaze held hers captive. She couldn’t lie to him. “I’m too old to have a Daddy,” she countered to distract him.

“There is no age requirement to be a Little.” He brushed away that argument. “You’re not answering my question. When we were teenagers, you believed you were mine. Do you still think you’re my Little girl?”

Swallowing hard, Harper hesitated for a minute before whispering, “Yes.”

Colt rewarded her with a steamy kiss that made her tangle her fingers in his T-shirt for stability. “Good. I started asking you to the movies when I recognized you were my Little girl.”

“That was forever ago.”

“It was. I don’t want to wait anymore. Our time together has finally arrived.” He lifted Harper easily and rearranged her so she was straddling his lap. Colt pulled her flush against his chest.

Harper wiggled and then froze in place at the intimate feel of his body against hers. She looked up at his face. There was no mistaking the desire evoked by her small motion. She could feel his shaft hardening against her. “Oh!”

“Oh, indeed, Little girl.”

“Do you want me to call you Daddy?” she whispered, squeezing her thighs together as that daring thought made her wet.

Colt brushed her blonde hair away from her face as he assured her, “When you’re ready, I would like nothing more, but you have to feel comfortable calling me Daddy.”

“Are you going to make love to me?”

“Soon. When you’re ready. First, we play Strip Rules.”

“Strip Rules?” she echoed, trying hard to keep her hands from rubbing all over his body.

“I’ll take off one piece of clothing when you tell me something you need from your Daddy. And I’ll undress you each time I add to our rules as well.”

“Really?” Harper stared at him. “So, if I say I need to be spanked when I’m bad, you’ll take something off?”

Colt reached one arm over his shoulder and pulled his shirt off. “My turn.”

“Wait! I don’t really need to be spanked. That’s not one of our rules!” she protested with heated cheeks. Why had she said that!

“When you’re naughty, definitely, and probably when you’re stressed and need relief. A good spanking will erase all the bad stuff from your life.”

“And give me a sore bottom!” she protested, staring at his chest and wondering what would happen if she touched him.

Colt placed her hand on his shoulder. “That rule was already on my list. You just said it first. Touch me. You have my permission, Angel.”

Before she could process that statement, Harper’s hand stroked over his chiseled skin. She’d seen the fitness equipment on the tour bus and knew he spent a lot of the downtime working out. “Colt…”
