“Am I the beast in this scenario?” She obviously didn’t know what Bellamy could be like in bed.

“The beast was lonely and sexually repressed, which is you all over. He was cursed to remain hidden from the world until someone saw him and loved him for who he truly was. Oh my God,” she gasped dramatically. “Why am I not writing this down? I’m a genius and you are so the beast. Would you say Wes was the chipped teacup? Or is it Little Sean?”

Seamus huffed out a laugh. “You have a rich and twisted imagination.”

“I chose to study psychology, Seamus. That should have been your first clue I had some issues.” She blew him a kiss. “Be happy I didn’t go with my first nickname. Because, look at him, you know it was filthy. And after you look, you should go save him. Owen has finally arrived, and it appears that he was the one everyone else was waiting for. At least, that’s what Wyatt seems to be suggesting to me with his hand signals. He’s a flirt, but I do love a man with a big…guilty conscience.”

“Hell.”

Bellamy’s lips curved when he saw Seamus moving towards him, and Seamus’s pulse sped up in reaction. Before they met, he’d never experienced lust. He’d never had greedy, hungry marathon reunion sex that lasted for two days. He’d never spent months with the knowledge of what he’d been missing and what he craved, which only made his need stronger now than it had been in Ireland.

He stepped out from behind the bar, but before he could get to the others, a regular in a Finn Club tank top threw herself into his path and grabbed his arm. “Seamus Finn, you sexy thing, when are you going to name a beer for yourself so I can order you every night and wrap my lips around your bottle’s long neck?”

It wasn’t the first time he’d been asked that question in the last few months, but it was the first time he’d had an audience for his answer. “I don’t think anyone wants a beer named after me, Mindy. Now if you’ll—”

“You could call it Big Daddy,” she continued as if she hadn’t interrupted him. “Or Hot Irish Beef—”

“Shameless,” Bellamy said as he appeared beside him to smile wickedly down at Mindy. “It would have to be called Shameless.”

She was too tipsy to understand that Bellamy was carefully removing her hand from Seamus’s arm because he was jealous. As his family looked on, Seamus felt his face heat.

“Oh I like it,” she said, matching Bellamy’s grin. “Shameless. I bet you are, aren’t you, honey? All the quiet ones usually have the kinkiest secrets.”

“You have no idea,” Bellamy said, before he lowered his head and whispered in her ear.

Son of a bitch. What was he doing? “Bellamy.”

But it was too late. Mindy’s mouth opened in silent surprise and she stared at Seamus as if intrigued and disappointed at the same time.

“On the bar?” she asked uncertainly.

“Oh yeah,” Bellamy replied, straightening before settling his hand low on Seamus’s back.

“Well…” Mindy took a drink and cleared her throat, her own cheeks flushing as she studied the two of them. “I guess it does need to be called Shameless.”

And then she turned and hurried back to her crowded table.

“That wasn’t necessary.” Seamus was trying to keep his voice down. “Mindy is a regular.”

“Now she’s a regular who knows you’re taken.”

“She didn’t need to know anything. My private life is private, and she’s just here to drink and hang out with her friends.”

Bellamy’s lips tightened. “She’s here to stare at your ass and try and take you home.”

“Everyone flirts at a bar.”

“That wasn’t flirting. She wanted to drag you outside and blow—”

“Blow me down.” Trick Dunham appeared right in front of them, his eyes brimming with laughter. “Not to interrupt, because this is entertaining as fuck, but we’d all like to meet your good friend, Whotheheckareyou?”

“I already told you his name was Bellamy,” Owen answered, frowning at Bellamy’s hand on his brother. “He’s Tanaka’s old friend.”

“Where is Ken?”

Seamus studied all of them, seeing a glint of hurt in Stephen’s eyes that he tried to hide by pulling his wife closer. Shit, he knew he should have called and talked to him privately. He just didn’t know what to say.

“He and Brady are protesting,” Tasha answered with a wicked grin. “They disagreed with Owen’s battle plan. So do I, for the record, but you know how voyeuristic I am.”

“Is this a battle plan?” Seamus asked. He noticed Jeremy wasn’t around either. Knowing him, he was protesting too, and his brother would have a lot of making up to do tonight.

Owen looked uncomfortable. “It’s a small family meeting. If you’d answered your messages, you would have known that.”

Seamus glanced around the bar, feeling eyes on them. “Let’s take the introductions to our usual table by the dart board, yeah? I have kids to feed.”
