“You first to clear the lane for Torch,” I practically mouth, not wanting to attract any attention and risk much more than a barely-there whisper. Viper nods. We watch as Viper moves stealthily towards the asshole as his back is turned. He wraps his hand around the man’s throat. I assume he’s capping his mouth. We hear a couple grunts that sets my nerves on fire. Quickly, the guy goes down. Once he falls to the ground, we see he has a blade sticking out of his jugular. Messy but definitely effective. Viper picks up his knife, wiping it on the dead man’s shirt. Then, he gives us a wave and goes to join the other men who are working on clearing the other trailers.

Torch huffs. I don’t know if he’s doing it because Viper is acting like a cocky motherfucker, or to tell me he’s going next, but I’m just kind of glad he’s gone. I think he might be insane. His T-shirt he’s wearing tonight seems to confirm it as it proclaims him his wife’s certified muff diver. I watch as he makes it to his mark, and I know the man has years on me, but you wouldn’t know it by the way he moves. I’m still not sure how he’s going to quietly take out an asshole that is twice his size. Against my better judgment, I find myself following him. I’m almost there when I watch Torch stand up behind his target, slap a hand on each side of his head, and before the guy even knows what is happening, Torch twists his neck until there’s a cracking noise of bone. Just like that he falls to the ground in a lifeless blob. Holy shit. That’s some major next level shit right there. I don’t think I’ve seen anything like it. Torch walks off to help the others and that leaves me with the third guard.

I make my way carefully, shaking my head at what a poor lookout the poor sap is. While he’s looking out to the woods surrounding the trailers, there’s a small army of men behind the building he’s supposed to be guarding. It’s pathetic really. I don’t waste time trying to be fancy I get up to my guy and slit his throat with my life. He makes a little noise as the life drains out of him, but not enough to worry about. I rub the knife on my pants leg, then put it back in my holster. By the time I make it around back, the guys have a steel propped up under the doorknob of the outside door and have screwed the windows shut. There’s a chance they could shatter the windows to get out, but they won’t get that chance. Dragon has a bag full of rope and tape to secure them.

“We ready?” Skull asks and I nod, looking at Torch.

“I’m going to need to learn that trick,” I grumble, making him smile.

“Works for me. We’ll have to find some willing victims.”

I nod, thinking he seems to relish that idea. Just like that, my earlier thought that he’s insane cements itself. He definitely is.

“Pile the bodies up. We’ll throw them in the trailer. That way the fire can take them, too. It will burn hot enough to destroy any evidence. We’ll make sure of that. I don’t want any blowback here,” Dragon mutters. I frown because if I’d known I’d have to picked up the body, I’d have chosen another way. “Skull, Bull, you lead the charge inside. We want all of them contained, but our three main targets we will pull outside to get information from them. King you guys join us to help contain Eyeball’s crew after you get the bodies together.

I grunt. Shit, my brain is still a mess when it comes to Dragon. Watching him in action, I’m starting to respect him and that’s the last thing I want. Damn it. The three of us head back out Torch throws the man that weighs a fuck of a lot more than him over his shoulder like it’s nothing. Viper joins us carrying his guy much the same way. I pick up mine, grimacing as blood gets on my cut.

“My way has less mess,” Torch brags.

“Asshole,” I grumble making both him and Viper laugh. We stop joking when a couple of shots ring out in the air. “Time to get back to work.”

By the time we get back to the trailer, the guys have already contained the Feral crew. It’s a little surprising but a look around tells me that we’re not going to get all of these clowns tonight. There’s only five men here.

“Shit,” Viper huffs, realizing the same thing I am.

“Yeah,” Dom grumbles. “Eyeball isn’t here either. Seems part of the crew flew the coop with him.”
