I’ll taunt and tease them. Edging them until they’re dripping and needy. I love seeing the expressions of desire on their faces while I keep them on the precipice of an orgasm for as torturously long as possible.

At times, I’ll bring out a blade and watch as they shiver, not in fear, but from the unadulterated bliss they know I’ll happily bestow on their bodies with its sharp tip or edge.

“This looks interesting,” Rayne says as we walk into Sliver.

The club doesn’t appear to be too busy, which is perfect because I hate it when there are waiting times for rooms.

The receptionist greets me at the front desk and offers me a bright smile.

“How can I help you this evening, sir?”

With a nod in greeting, I show her the sleek, black membership card that only has a number on it. No name. No personal details. But even though the information’s not visible, the moment she scans the card into the system, she’ll be able to see the full background check on me that’s required to enter an establishment like this.

I ask, “Can we book one of your playrooms. We’d like two spanking benches and a bed, please.”

She offers me a grin. She’s dressed in a black suit jacket and pants with a red, tight-fitting top underneath. Her dark brown hair is pinned tightly against her head, and it doesn’t move when she rises.

“That can certainly be accommodated, sir. Give me a few minutes, and I’ll fetch you when it’s ready. There are some drinks at the bar, or if you prefer, I can have champagne sent to the room.”

“That will be perfect. And some water, please.”

One thing I’m strict about is keeping the girls hydrated, especially tonight when they’ll be putting up with me and my needs.

I know Harper needs some time to get lost in pleasure. She’s worried about seeing Bane at the gala, and the anxiety she’s experiencing could make her lose focus. Rayne, on the other hand, needs to enjoy herself because tomorrow she comes face-to-face with one of the men who owned and abused her as a child, which I know must be causing her stress.

While we wait for the receptionist, we make our way into the main area of the club. There are black curtains covering the walls, offering the place a mysterious allure. The leather of the bar stools and the booths that line both sides of the room are a deep blood red. The exquisite glass teardrops of the chandeliers that hang from the ceiling create a waterfall effect, and the expensive crystal glasses used for serving drinks sparkle from behind the bar.

While we wait, Harper and Rayne move onto the small dance floor. I watch them sway to the song coming through the speakers as they giggle and smile at each other.

The only time we’re ever truly at ease is when we’re on our own. Out in public there’s always this innate tension that courses through me, and I see it in their expressions, too.

I didn’t think I would ever find peace in this life, but I always hoped there’d be something beyond what my father planned for me. With these two amazing women, I have finally found some form of solace. It only lasts when I’m with them, though. The rest of the time, I’m still tense, craving violence, and hungry for the darkness.

“Your room is ready, sir,” the dark haired receptionist tells me when she returns. “You’re in room three five seven. I hope you enjoy the facilities.”

“I’m sure we will.” I offer her a nod before looking over my shoulder to see Rayne and Harper coming back to me.

A pair of black doors takes us into a long, dimly lit hallway with more doors down either side. There’s a multitude of rooms in the club where couples, groups, and single clientele can enjoy themselves. There are also voyeuristic rooms that I enjoyed making use of when I first discovered my sexual proclivities. Now there are only two women who can capture my attention.

I’m about to open the door to our room when the one beside it opens and a man walks out. Immediately, I’m on high alert. Any men coming near my girls makes me tense.

As he passes by, I keep my hand on the doorknob, but I don’t twist it. I don’t move at all.

“Hey, darling,” his deep drawl has the hair on the back of my neck standing up and red-hot rage pumps through my veins. I twist my head slightly, and when I see him reach for Harper, I’m feral.

I move swiftly, much quicker than he could ever consider moving. My hand is around his neck in an instant, and I slam him against the wall on the opposite side of the hallway to us.

He tries to shake me off, but I’m much bigger and stronger than him.
