“Ugh, they’re at it again. Let’s get the food before it’s cold,” our oldest boy, William, says. At nine, he’s the leader of the clan, making sure everyone toes the line while our youngest boy, Niko, creates mischief wherever he goes.

“Good call,” Cara seconds her brother, taking one of the bags. I can smell French fries, which are my favorite with this little one.

“Come on, sweetheart. I can’t let your fries get cold,” he says, knowing me well. He kisses me once more before we all sit in the kitchen.

“How would all of you feel if we bought a house just outside town, just ten miles away?” We’d been talking about moving because although six bedrooms and one office is good, we need a full backyard for the kids that doesn’t include an ocean for a playground.

“Will we have to go to another school?”

“No, Alex, buddy. You’ll still be going to your school.”

“Cool, because I have a new friend and I don’t want to move away from her.”

“A her?” Jamison asks. At six years old, my son is crushing hard. I’ve already met the little princess, and she’s adorable.

“Yes. And I’m going to marry her and then we can have this house.” I nearly choke on my food.

“Oh really?” Jamison asks, rubbing my back. Alex nods. “Have you spoken to her about this?”

“She says I’m a fool, but I’m cute so she’ll think about it. I’ll convince her,” he says so proudly, puffing out his chest.

“Same way I got your mother, but maybe wait another decade or so.”

“I’ve got patience.” He does. I shake my head, reminding myself to talk to her mother about this. As cute as it is now, it won’t be when they’re teens.

“Anyone else have life-changing revelations at dinner?” he asks. With a bunch of no answers, we go back to eating and talking about the day. My life is perfect, even if it’s always busy. Jamison and I love our little family.

“Grandma’s coming by tomorrow to watch you,” Jamison informs them.

“Yay!” Cara cheers. She’s Grandma’s princess. The boys smile, but they don’t have that much enthusiasm because that means no surfing.

As dinner wraps up, I get the kids settled in for a movie before Jamison scoops me up and carries me to the bedroom. “It’s time for you to relax, Mrs. Cain.”

“How did I end up so lucky?”

“You offered me room service, and I’ve been starving for that same meal ever since,” he growls, pouncing on me, parting my legs and stroking my pussy. I’m so glad my old family forced me into Jamison’s path. Besides, I’m always up for his kind of room service.
