Early morning sunlight peeks through a slit in the heavy hotel drapes, and I realize I fell asleep a few hours ago while making my plans. Her light, even breaths brush the side of my neck, and I hold her close, enjoying the time with my little love. My cock thumps hungrily against my stomach, but I ignore the fucker. My little kitten will need time to recover.

After slipping from her grasp, I head to the bathroom. With the concert in a few hours, we don’t have time to enjoy our morning. Poor fucking planning on my part. Oh well, I’ll make it up to my kitten somehow.

“Good morning.” She walks up behind me and wraps her soft arms around my waist.

“Good morning, kitten.” I turn and pull her close and feel her naked curves melt into my body. I’m tempted to forget about our plans for the day and carry her back to bed. “We only have about two hours before the concert starts,” I remind her.

A loud pounding echoes through the suite. “What the fuck?” I step back from my kitten. “You get dressed while I see what in the hell is going on.”

I grab my shorts off the bedroom floor but don’t bother with a shirt. I’m about to blast whoever is banging on our door at this time of the morning.

A tornado hits me the second I throw open the door. “Where the fuck is my daughter?” Fuck me with a wooden spoon. Cash Jamison attempts to plow his way past me.

“Now, hold on a fucking second.” I block him from entering the suite.

The irate bastard gets right in my face. “I’m not going to ask again. Where the fuck is my daughter?”

I’m tempted to say, “Laying in my bed,” but I doubt that statement would endure me to my future father-in-law.

“Daddy!” Tia screeches behind me. “What are you doing here?” I glance over my shoulder and groan. She’s fucking perfect and barely goddamn dressed.

Cash glances around me, and I watch his dark eyes fill with anger as he stares at his daughter wearing my shirt. “I need a word with you.” He turns back to me and glares lasers in my direction. “Now.”

Needing to take control of the situation and put out the immediate fires, I turn to my girl. “Kitten, why don’t you go get dressed and we can take your father to breakfast.”

Tia stares between us for a few seconds, and I expect her to resist, but she shocks me by turning to head back to her room.

“Please, come in and have a seat,” I grit out, knowing this is my one chance to keep peace with my girl’s family. I’d hate to start off our relationship with her parents hating me.

Cash glares at me but follows me into the living room. “I don’t have long to talk,” I tell him as he sits on the chair across from me. “Pussycat Rebellion is playing soon.”

“And I bet you’re going to sign them just to get into my daughter’s bed,” he snaps.

“No,” I tell him. “What happens between Tia and me is our business.” I lay my cards on the table. “If I think the band has a future with Inked Knight Records, I’ll sign them. If not, I won’t. No matter what, I will have a relationship with Tia.”

Cash sits back and stares at me, making me feel like a bug under a microscope. “Does my daughter have any say in the matter?”

“Your daughter has all the say in the matter,” I breathe out. “She fucking owns me.”

“Then you had better make her happy. If you cause even one tear to fall from her eyes, I’ll kill you painfully.” I’m shocked at how easy he gave in.

“And that’s it?” I rub my bottom lip, wondering if I stepped into an alternate universe.

“That’s it.” Cash relaxes a little. “My wife would have my ass if I didn’t at least give you a chance.”

“And you listen to the little woman?” I can’t resist teasing.

“Believe me, son. You’ll learn real fast that if the wife isn’t happy, no one will be happy.” He looks over my shoulder and smiles warmly as Tia enters the room. “Your young man just invited me to go to the Pussycat Rebellion concert with you.” I don’t remember inviting him, but oh well. This is going much better than I thought my first meeting with her father would go.

CHAPTER SEVEN

TIA

Okay. This is crazy. I glance over and watch my father holding a calm conversation with Hawk. The world has gone crazy. Next thing you know, cats and dogs will be living together in harmony. My parents might be very protective, but they have always allowed me and my brothers to live our own lives and learn from our mistakes. I’m a little shocked at how easily my dad is accepting my new relationship with Hawk.
