“Have you seen the new Jumanjis? I love those movies.”

Gannon’s brows pulled in. “New Jumanjis?”

I gasped and put my hand on his chest, pushing back to get a better look at him. “Oh my gosh, tell me it isn’t true? You’ve never seen them? The Rock? Kevin Hart? Jack Black? Karen Gillan?”

“Didn’t she play Nebula in Guardians of the Galaxy?”

“In what?” I asked, confused.

A shocked expression moved over Gannon’s handsome face. “You’ve never watched the Guardians of the Galaxy?”

“Nope.”

He shook his head in disbelief.

“You’ve never watched Jumanji?” I countered.

We stared at one another for a few moments before we both started laughing.

“Come on,” Gannon said as he spanked me on my ass. “Let’s go shower, and then we can watch Guardians.”

“Um, no.” I slowly lifted off him, instantly missing his warmth inside of me. “We can shower and then watch Jumanji.”

He sighed and stood up. “We’ll flip a coin.”

Before I could respond, he picked me up and carried me to his bathroom. He reached into the shower and turned it on, then waited for the water to heat before he took my hand in his and guided me into the shower.

“How about this,” he said with a crooked smile on his face. “You let me soap you up and have my way with you, and then we can watch whatever you want.”

I laughed. “We just made love, Gannon. There’s no way—” The feeling of his hard dick pressed against my stomach caused me to look down. I snapped my head back up to look at him. “How?”

He placed soft kisses on my shoulder, slowly moving up my neck until his mouth was at my ear. “I’ve really, really missed you.”

After mind-blowing shower sex, we got dressed and headed to the kitchen. Gannon declared we had to make snacks if we were watching a movie. I agreed because after two amazing orgasms, I was starving.

Gannon set a bowl of popcorn on the coffee table next to the plate of cut-up veggies and hummus I’d prepared. “Okay, Jumanji it is,” he stated as he sat down next to me and pulled a blanket over both of us.

Gannon and I spent nearly the entire night watching movies. I hadn’t laughed so much in forever. When I couldn’t keep my eyes open any longer, he lifted me in his arms and carried me to his bedroom. In bed, he pulled me close and held me. I felt his heart beating, and it settled my body into a deeply relaxed state.

I could really get used to being in his arms every night.

Once his breathing slowed and I thought he was asleep, I rolled over and simply watched him. “I love you,” I whispered softly.

Gannon drew in a deep breath and exhaled. “I love you too.”

Smiling, I snuggled closer to him and drifted off to sleep.

“I don’t think I’ve ever had this much fun in my entire life!”

Gannon reached for my hand and helped me out of the go-cart. “That can’t be true. We used to do a lot of fun stuff when we dated.”

Laughing, I replied, “We never threw axes or drove go-carts. Though I’m not so sure about the scavenger hunt on the beach.”

Along with that crooked smile and dimple of his that melted my panties, Gannon gave me a one-shoulder shrug. “You can’t tell me you didn’t have fun doing that scavenger hunt.”

“Gannon, our competitors were all under the age of ten.”

His brows pulled down. “Don’t even say that’s why we won.”

“It’s exactly why we won!”

“Whatever, that damn thing was hard.”

He placed his hand on my lower back and guided me to his Jeep. “Come on, let’s get back to my place. We need to change for dinner.”

“What are we making?” I asked as Gannon opened the car door and held my hand until I slipped inside.

“We’re not making anything. I’m taking you out.”

I wiggled my brows. “Oh really?”

“Yep, there’s a new place that opened right down by the docks. It has an amazing view of the bay, and I heard the food’s fantastic.”

He shut the door and hurried around to the driver’s side. It was a beautiful early August day in Seaside, a bit hot but nothing drastic. It was the perfect evening to sit out on a deck with the cool ocean breeze blowing in.

“Is it casual or do I need to stop and pick up something from Palmer’s house?” I asked.

“I think it’s business casual. They don’t allow you in if you have on jeans or shorts.”

I nodded. “Okay, do you mind stopping by Palmer’s?”

“Not at all.” Gannon took my hand in his and kissed the back of it. My stomach did a little flip, and I smiled at him. It seemed like I had been doing a lot of smiling since I’d returned to Seaside.

Fifteen minutes later, Gannon pulled up to Palmer’s house. I jumped out and ran inside.
