Gannon shut the door to his bedroom, and I turned to face him. I could see the passion in his eyes, and I knew he could see it in mine as well.

“Have I told you how beautiful you look tonight, Addie?”

Smiling, I kicked off my heels. “Once or twice.”

His eyes moved over my body greedily, and I felt the pulse between my legs grow stronger.

“Gannon,” I whispered, breaking his trance. He started to walk toward me, but stopped when he was inches away. He ran his fingers up my arms so softly I shivered.

“When can we get married?” he asked as he lifted my left hand and kissed it again.

My mind was blank; the only thing I could think about was having him inside of me. Gannon moved closer. The smell of his woody cologne filled my senses, and I swayed slightly. When he buried his face in my neck, I almost lost my ability to stand. I dropped my head back as he placed soft kisses on my skin, unzipping my dress at the same time.

“Cat got your tongue, sweetheart?” he purred against my ear.

I let out a soft moan. “What was the question again?”

A whoosh of hot breath hit my neck when he chuckled. “When can we get married?”

“As soon as possible,” I replied.

He drew back and looked down at me. “Do you want a big wedding or a small one?”

“Small,” I answered, drawing his mouth to mine. My dress was still on, though barely. One push off my shoulders and it would be at my feet.

I pulled Gannon’s shirt out of his pants and unbuttoned it, then got to work untying his favorite tie. I loved that he still had the very one I’d bought him in high school.

I pulled it off, tossed it to the floor, and pushed his shirt over his shoulders. I smoothed my fingers over his broad chest, down to his insanely tight abs. They looked as if I could wash my clothes on them.

“Your body is perfect,” I said, leaning in and kissing his bare flesh. I loved the sound of his breath catching. It was my touch, my kisses, that drove him mad, and that made me feel like a goddess.

He gently pulled my dress down, letting it pool around my feet. “Jesus,” he choked out as he took me in. I was wearing a pair of nude lace panties and nothing else.

“Would it be weird if I told you to put the heels back on and walk around the room for me?”

I let out a giggle. “No.”

His eyes seemed to grow darker. “Someday, Addie, I’m going to fuck you while you’re wearing nothing but a pair of heels. Right now, though, I just want to make love to you.”

Cupping my face in his hands, he pressed his mouth to mine in a mind-blowing kiss that left my knees feeling weak and my heart racing in my chest.

He stepped back and quickly finished getting undressed. Then he stalked toward me as I backed up until I hit the end of his bed.

“Sit down,” he commanded.

When I did, he dropped to his knees and spread my legs open. “Watch me taste you, Addie.”

I gripped the bedspread and drew in a deep breath—then nearly fell apart the moment his mouth was on me. He slowly licked and sucked until I slumped back onto the bed, no longer able to watch.

“Oh, Gannon. Yes! Yes!”

It didn’t take long before I was lost in the most amazing orgasm of my life. If I didn’t know better, I could have sworn the roof lifted and the stars fell from the sky all around me.

As I came down from my euphoria, I realized Gannon was moving over me. He settled between my legs, and I wrapped them around his hips.

“When will you marry me, Addie?”

Smiling, I ran my fingers through his hair as he teased my entrance. I lifted my hips and he adjusted, sliding deep into me while we both moaned in pleasure.

“I’m not moving until you pick a date,” he said.

I giggled like a schoolgirl, staring into his light brown eyes. I could see the flecks of gold in them, and they seemed to sparkle in the dim light.

“You don’t remember, do you?” I asked.

He frowned. “Remember what?”

I wrapped my arms around his neck and thrust my hips up. “Please move.”

Slowly shaking his head, he replied, “Not until I get a date.”

When I pouted, he moved ever so slightly.

“Our freshman year of high school,” I said. “It was Halloween, and we were at the dance the school was putting on.”

I could see the wheels turning as Gannon tried to remember. Then it hit him—and he looked directly into my eyes and gave me a boyish smile. The dimple in his right cheek was on full display. “You said you wanted a Halloween wedding.”
