“Whose ass is this?” I ease my other finger in and start to fuck her. In seconds, her ass grabs hold and pulses, her cunt convulsing with pleasure.

“It’s yours… I’m yours.” I can’t even hear her anymore as I pull my fingers out and jack myself off.

“I fucking love you.” I let myself explode all over her ass and back. “Jesus Christ.” I keep pumping semen on her until I drop next to her.

She lies on her stomach, a huge smile on her face as I turn to move a strand of dark hair out of her eyes.

“I’m going to order room service and let you soak in the bath.”

“Hmmm, that sounds amazing.” Her eyes start to close. I don’t blame her for being tired. I fucked her hard, but I need to get her clean and she needs to eat.

“Come on, baby.” I pick her up, her back wet and covered in my cum.

She opens her eyes and smiles and my heart hurts at how much love I have for her. I always have. For as long as I can remember this… us. Tonight. It’s all I’ll ever need.

Flipping on the light switch with my elbow, we both groan at the bright hotel bathroom lighting.

After I set her down, I turn on the water in the huge tub. Adding some bath salts, I stand up and stretch my arms. The bathroom is huge. White towels are stacked neatly along with white orchids on the large sink. The walls are putty colored, the floor marble. It’s cold and feels good on my feet. A large silver mirror lets me watch Dolly as she pulls up her hair waiting for the tub to fill.

“We need to get a bathtub in our house.” I step into the hot water and hold out my hand to her. She instantly takes it, and we both sigh as we sink into the blissful warmth together.

She lays her head on my chest, her hands caressing my tattoos. I had her face put on my forearm a couple of years ago after another one of our breakups. She loves it.

“You want to get a house?” Her voice goes up an octave. Guess I surprised her.

I smile and kiss the top of her head. “Yeah, I want to buy us a house. I already have the realtor I work with for my clubs looking.”

She turns to stare at me, her forehead wrinkling. “What?”

I use my toes to turn off the faucet, then wrap my arms around her.

“I’m just surprised.”

“You didn’t think we were going to live in your shoebox apartment, did you?” I laugh but she stays still and a small amount of dread enters my body. I push it aside because I refuse to allow old things to get in our way.

“I’m just… you never talked about this.”

“About buying a house?” I move her sideways so I can see her face.

“Yes. I mean, I’m thrilled. Don’t get me wrong. But I’m surprised.” My whole body relaxes. At least she’s thrilled.

“Why don’t you talk to him and pick out where you want to buy. I know Eve and Charlie love their neighborhood, so maybe try that area.”

Her eyes are huge as she nods slowly.

“Dolly? What’s the problem? We’re married. We need to think about this stuff. You have the salon. I need to be close to the clubhouse—”

“Why?” She cuts me off.

“Why what?” Her reaction confuses me, which is unsettling because I pretty much know everything about her.

“Why do you have to be close to the clubhouse? You have a bunch of legit businesses. Why do you still need the club?”

I sit up. Water splashes over the rim hitting the floor.

“Because I’m a Disciple. I’m the treasurer. That’s my job along with running my clubs.” I stare at her almost daring her to go there tonight.

Thankfully she cocks her head and eases back onto my chest. But all my relaxing has been interrupted, my few precious seconds snatched from me, much like a dog steals a treat.

“I thought buying a house, making it your own would make you happy.” It’s slightly bitter but fuck, what is she thinking?

“You’re right. I’m beyond happy, but…” She sighs and turns her wet body over so that she’s on her side and can see me. “I’m always worried… if we get too happy, too comfortable something bad will happen.”

And just like that my heart starts to beat again. I can 100 percent get on board with those fears.

“That’s normal. We haven’t had the best lives. Something always seems to get thrown in our way. But that’s life. We can’t be afraid of it.”

She blinks at me and caresses my abs. “I’ll try. I think I’d like to live by Charlie and Eve.” She smiles then turns onto her stomach, her breasts rubbing my chest.
